The County Council is set to vote to ban 7,000 units (out of the 14,000 total units) from renting to tourists starting in 2026. Those units were originally zoned Apartment and had been grandfathered into tourist rentals. That grandfathering is being removed. The complete list of units which will be barred from renting to tourists is readily available if you do an internet search on Mintoya List.brOur unit has never been on that list and has always been zoned Hotel/Business.
