We welcome you to enjoy our 16th floor studio located in the heart of Waikiki, where you can enjoy stunning ocean and city views from your private lanai. Just steps from all restaurants and shopping you can think of. We are in a safe, convenient area, with Waikiki Beach is less than a 10 minute walk. The condo has an assigned parking stall, full kitchen, furnished with a queen size bed and additional futon and includes everything for a comfortable short stay, or long stay. brbrATTENTION! Please be advised that starting October 27th, 2025 the building will begin an exterior concrete repair and painting project. During this project, guests can expect noisy work (drilling & hammering) occurring Monday-Friday, from 8am-4:30pm. Safety measures will be in place, but some degree of dust and vibrations are unavoidable depending on the area being worked on. The building pool and sundeck will be closed for the duration of this project, and for segments of the project, each unit's lanai will be inaccessible. This project is expected to last 6-12 months. For this inconvenience, our daily rate has already been reduced. brbrIMPORTANT NOTE:brInsects, “pests”, geckos, and anything else of such nature are a valuable part of our ecosystem. Just like any other host, or hotel, we routinely treat for household insects, while it is rare to see such inside, it is always a possibility given our environment. Great Ocean View/500 Ft to Waikiki Beach. Affordable one bedroom condo w/kitchen

Visits to Hawaii have always been expensive, but each year prices seem to go higher. However, I think if you compare my condo with other options, you will realize it is a good deal. I try to keep the nightly rate about $100 less than what the hotel charges. I want guests to know they are getting a good deal so that they take good care of the condo. I recommend the condo for two guests; there is an extra fee if there are three guests to cover the extra costs.brbr My Waikiki vacation condo has always been legally registered with the state of Hawaii so no worries about the illegal rentals you may have heard about in Hawaii.brbrThis corner unit in the Pacific Monarch Hotel is on the 20th floor. The views are great and the location of the hotel is in the heart of Waikiki. From the entrance of the hotel it is 500 feet to the sand of Waikiki Beach. I originally got the condo for my parents when they were alive; they very much enjoyed their yearly visits. I myself enjoy the memories and sometimes stay at the condo. Other times, I rent the condo out for others to visit; some guests have been visiting each year for many years. I hope you enjoy your stay if you choose my Waikiki Vacation Condo, but please respect it as a home-away-from-home.brbrThere are many restaurants in the area and the hotel is close to nightlife spots and shopping. The hotel has a recreation room on the top floor with beautiful views of the Ko'olau mountains. The roof-top pool and hot tub also have great views. The common areas of the hotel are neat and clean. You have access to all the amenities of the hotel but you don’t have to pay the hotel’s activity fee. You won’t be able to get beach towels at the front desk but I do have beach towels in the condo. There is free Wi-Fi in the room. A few other minor amenities of the hotel are only for those who pay the amenity fee such as daily newspaper, free shuttle to Ala Moana, beach chairs (there are often some in my condo left by guests), in-room coffee, and free admission to two museums. I bet you can buy those amenities if you wish on your own for a lot less than $25 plus tax per day. brbrThere’s a parking garage attached to the hotel but it’s run by a private company. Anyone (hotel guest or private guest) who parks there needs to pay the $33 per 24 hour time period. There’s a machine that accepts credit cards in the garagebrbrThere’s a small but functional kitchen with everything you need to save a little money by eating some of your meals in the condo, all linens and towels are provided. Of course, since it’s offered at such a low price there’s no maid service provided. brbrThe Pacific Monarch is a three-star hotel and NOT right on the beach. There are more luxurious places to stay but A LOT more expensive. I keep the condo very clean but it has more of a home-like feel. I added blackout curtains in the living room in 2025 (already present in bedroom), a new sofa in the living room in November 2023, new laminate floor in 2020, and new lanai furniture in 2021.
