We are Superhosts elsewhere and look forward to earning Premier status on here. Welcome to the Beach House! Though not on the beach, this home is inspired by our local area which is well known for our soft sand beaches. There is a nearby park for the kiddos, a kayak launch, fishing pier, boat launches, etc. Pensacola NAS is also just a short drive from the home. Guests have full use of the home, carport, and small sectioned backyard with deck for sitting, though don't have access to the garage or the main backyard where owner's still keep personal items. Guests do have a deck in the backyard to enjoy with a privacy fence. Only 5 minutes to downtown Pensacola and 15-20 minutes to the beach. Gentrification is occurring in Pensacola neighborhoods and you will see a mix of homes (new construction to updated to those not yet revitalized), but it is generally quiet and very safe. Contactless check-in/out via electronic front/side door locks. Garbage/recycle cans on location and maintenance will stop by to move them to the curb and back in place on schedule. Free WiFi. Older construction, but clean home! Parking on driveway and under the carport. Please, No smoking/vaping! Beach House is over 50 years old and, though greatly cared for, shows its age in some places. Expect to find some loving wear, quaint aging and charming patina both inside and outside. It is a block-built home, which was once the rage in Florida as they can generally withstand up to 250mph wind, though they don't tend to have the same aesthetic appeal as a traditional stick built home, therefore requiring a little more creativity with colors. :) The home boasts two bedrooms and one full bath. Bedrooms have queen beds. The home has central heat and air conditioning. The living room and one bedroom have TVs, though you will need to use your own login credentials for access to Prime, Netflix, Hulu, etc. We do have the Tubi app installed and The Roku Channel, which have news stations and movies available with no logon needed. No cable is provided. We continue to make upgrades when the home is vacant. There is a washer and dryer in the home for your use, though you will need to supply your own detergent. There is a toaster and single serve Keurig coffee maker in the kitchen, as well as all of the typical pots/pans needed to make a home meal. Spare linens for the beds are in the linen closet when booking longer than 2 night stays, as well as bath/beach/hand towels and washcloths. The dining table can seat 4-6. There are 4 chairs and a small tables for use on the deck or under carport. 5 minutes to downtown Pensacola and 15-20 minutes (depending on traffic) to Pensacola Beach. We strive to keep costs down for our guests and don't charge fees for typical cleaning, though we do still pay our housekeeping staff and request that our guests try to leave the home as tidy as possible at check-out in order to maintain our lower nightly rates. We are super convenient to all types of restaurants, shopping and interstate 10. West Florida hospital is 1/2 mile away. The university is 5 mins and the airport is less than 5 miles away. Pensacola beach is only a 30 min drive. 15 mins from the pace sports complex. The property truly is convenient to so much. Some of the best Mexican food right around the corner as well as a local brewery with a fun atmosphere and lots of space outdoors to play just 1 mile away. brThe home can sleep 8. Preferably 4 adults and 4 children. There are two queen sized beds, a trundle bed, a twin bed and a pull out sofa. There is a mattress topper provided for the sleeper sofa for a more comfortable nights sleep. Atnt high speed fiber internet service provided as well as two smart TV’s just bring your streaming passcodes and you are ready to go. There is a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes stainless steel pots and pans, an air fryer, blender, toaster, George Foreman grill and all the kitchen utinsels. The coffee and wine bar has all you’ll need for a great cup of joe or an expresso, a latte or a cappuccino. The coastal decor will calm your mind and have you thinking of the sea.
