Pensacola Home in Historic East Hill Neighborhood

Lovely home in a beautiful neighborhood. Lots more room than I expected. Comfortable beds, 3 nice bathrooms and great kitchen. If the weather had been warm I’m sure we would have spent time sitting outside in back. There’s even an outdoor shower!

Not enough towels, the floors are hard to walk on where they tilt and you MUST climb steps to get inside. Oven did not work

Lovely house in a lovely neighborhood. So did our dogs in this great pet friendly home with a big fenced yard.

Place was great! Shared bathroom shower was tough though - curtain too long, only a handheld sprayer and lots of water escaped confinement.

Good stay , clean ! had a funky smell tv in back lounge area did not work. It’s about a 20 year old tv.Overall all good

Side yard needs picking up and outdoor shower curtain was in bad shape. When we returned Saturday afternoon there was a strong sewer gas smell in the kitchen and shower/bathroom next to kitchen. We lit a sented candle and it was better when we returned from dinner. Saw two roaches in the kitchen. Other wise everything else was great. Very nice kitchen set up and the kids loved all the TV’s in each room and the neighborhood was walkable with a Publix store nearby also a park to walk our Scottie. Would stay here again

Wonderful Stay. Beds super comfortable. Enough space for a family of 6. Simple directions to follow. The house was exactly what we needed for our family reunion.

The photos don’t tell the whole story! We had roaches and a rat. Contacted owner and he got an exterminator quickly. Just one problem, the house has several air vents and crawl space not properly covered so anything can get under the house. Also, the utility room is awful! It is located at the back of a dirty garage. The dryer is vented out a raised window and you can see straight out in the yard. There are two electrical outlets without covers, and the only light is a lamp sitting on top of the water heater. There is an old water heater, building debris, broken pots in the side yard. There are three bedrooms, but you can only use one closet. The others are locked. The second bedroom has a roller clothes rod and the other has an out-of-tune piano, that’s it! There was also a hole in the wall in one bedroom, and the den has a water-damaged ceiling.

Wonderfully upgraded 1940's house in great walkable neighborhood. A few quirks to be expected in an older house. overall very, very good!

We attended our sons winging ceremony for the Navy. Great location close to down town. Could have used a little more towels but overall great.

Terrific home in a great Pensacola neighborhood. House and fenced yard were perfect for our stay. Can't wait to come back again.

My husband and I visit Pensacola each year and prefer a short rental vs. a hotel. This has been our best one yet! The home is beautiful and in a very nice neighbor. It was convenient to everything and cozy and comfortable for some much needed relaxation. One thing to note is there were ants in the kitchen which was not a deal breaker but the reason for 4 stars. I have them in my home sometimes so it was not alarming. Just be sure not to leave any food out on the counters for a long period of time or overnight. Per the previous reviews...if you plan to cook, bring your favorite pots or pans. There are some there but for us we were steaming seafood and forgot our large pot to make it easy. Other than that, this is a wonderful rental. You will not be disappointed!

Nice, neat house in a great centrally-located neighborhood.

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood - nice fenced yard for the dog to explore, plenty of room for 6, comfortable beds. Outdoor shower was great. A few hiccups - hard to get the gas stove to light, the wooden outdoor seating in the pictures is starting to break/dry rot, the lawn maintenance guy came and immediately started mowing the backyard with no warning that he was there - while my 20 year old daughter was using the outdoor shower, and the water was shut off on our last full day due to an expired card on the autopay (the local contact got this fixed as soon as he could), but all in all, a good stay and we would likely rent again if we are in the area. The local contact is extremely responsive.

Pros: Good location Decent property Cons: Major ant problem, bathrooms and kitchen. Stained furniture and bedding, should be replaced. Have pics of these issues, they were bad enough that we ended our rental early and went to the Marriott. Just needs some proper attention to be a great rental.

We stayed at this home for my daughter's dance competition at the arena and a theater downtown. It was the perfect location for both and to explore the Pensacola area. There are many things within walking distance. The home was clean and spacious for our family of four. The host was responsive to two small issues.We chose a home rental rather than a hotel so we could cook most of own meals; however, we found the otherwise gorgeous kitchen poorly equipped. There were very few pots and pans and none with lids that fit. Baking supplies were even more limited. They also didn't supply any dish towels - we let things dry overnight but found this odd. The second bathroom also doesn't have a proper showerhead. It has a tub faucet and a handheld sprayer that can sit in a suction cup on the wall but, in our opinion, this couldn't be positioned high enough for an adult to shower comfortably. This was not an issue for us as our two small children used and enjoyed the tub.This would easily be a 5 star rating for us if the kitchen was stocked better. We wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Perfect home for my family to stay in during a wedding weekend in Pensacola. Great location about 5 minutes from downtown.
