We bought this home as a winter getaway from Michigan, but we don't get to use it as much as we wish we could, so we'd like to share it with you! I guess our loss is your gain! It's not fancy, just a nice, comfortable house, with a brand new heated pool, in a quiet neighborhood in a great city! So, it's a great home for a family or snowbirds! brbr brbrThe home is close to everything in Jacksonville and the surrounding area. brbr brbrThe master bedroom has a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom brbrThe other bathroom is for the rest of the house brbrThere are two other bedrooms. One with a double bed and the other with a 2-twin bunk bed. brbr brbrPlease note: We can only accommodate 4 adult-sized people plus 2 child-sized people, plus an infant (we have a pack n play) brbr brbrThe highlight of the space is the newly remodeled, heated pool. If you look at the photos you'll notice that it has a nice safe fence around it, but no screen over it, and you'll see trees. Our pool service comes once a week, but trees lose leaves every day. So, please note that you may need to use the brush and skimmer if you want to remove the leaves. This is not a resort. This is a private home, and if we were there, we would have to do the same thing. If you are expecting a no-maintenance pool experience, you should stay at a resort or hotel. brbr brbrOnce your booking is complete, please be aware that we require additional steps to complete your reservation of this property. It's not a damage policy, but may be a good purchase if you are worried about events that might lead to cancellation. The first 30 days is the deposit. It is due at booking and is non-refundable. The remaining dates are refundable until 60 days before check-in. Because of issues with parties and disruptive events, many guests and even hosts have been removed from certain booking platforms. We're in agreement with that. If you want to invite a larger group, or plan a party or event that would be disruptive to the neighborhood - we're sorry, please look elsewhere. We aren't interested in alienating our neighbors or having our listing suspended for you. brbr brbrThere are security cameras on the front door and rear doors. They are for your protection and ours. None are installed indoors or aimed at inside areas. We had to install the cameras, not for burglars but because we've had guest counts that exceeded what was reserved. There really is not enough space for more than 6 to be comfortable. brbr brbrAnd then there are pets. Our owner's daughter has severe allergies, so we can't allow any pets.
