The State Park Beach is less crowded than any public beach access points.brbrbrbr- Walton Dunes Beach Access (1.5 miles West of Prominence) has a small parking lot, but no bathrooms, and is located just west of the Deer Lake State Park boundary. This access has no steps-just walk straight onto the beach. One of our personal favorites!brbrbrbr-Gulf Lakes Estates is a South Walton County beach access (1 mile east of Prominence). Small access that can be easily missed. Parking not available but easy bike ride to the beach.brbrbrbr-Santa Clara is a public beach access located at Bramble Grove Place (about 3.5 miles). This access provides a lifeguard, parking and bathrooms as well as ADA access to the beach.brbrbrbrTHE BIG CHILL (FORMERLY THE HUB)brbrThe community’s town center, called “The Big Chill,” includes restaurants, shops, and an amphitheater.
