Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses*! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:

- Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence.

- Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. This access has a small parking area at the access (~$3-$5 for parking) and bathrooms, but the walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed & beach service is not available at this location.

- Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. Parking and bathrooms are also available at this access.

*Note: Prominence homes access the beach via South Walton public beach access points. Most guests typically use the Deer Lake State Park beach access or other nearby public access points. Prominence homes do not offer direct beach access through the Watersound Club, nor do they provide access to the private Watersound Club facilities.



Parking in Prominence (North and South):

- North Prominence Triplex (A, B, C) Unit Parking: Parking is only allowed in the garage (if available) and/or the driveway of the unit being rented. Parking in unassigned driveways is prohibited and may result in towing or fines. No street parking or overflow parking is permitted in Prominence North. Additional parking is available at The Big Chill (formerly The Hub).

- South Prominence Parking: Parking is available in the driveway or garage of the home (if available). Street parking is allowed, but additional parking in the gravel spots on Pleasant and Clipper streets is first-come, first-served.



Pool Parking: No overnight parking is allowed at the pool area.

Trailer/Boat Parking: There is no trailer parking available.

Nearby Grocery Shopping: Publix at Watersound Origins, located on US 98 at North Watersound Parkway, approximately 3 miles away. Publix in Watercolor Crossing, located on South County Hwy 395, approximately 5 miles away.

Age Requirement: Please note our age requirement policy for March/April: One (1) parent or guardian over the age of 25 must be present and staying in the property for every three (3) guests between the ages of 15 and 25.



Two Night Reservations: Please note, two (2) night reservations are subject to a lower max occupancy. A two-night reservation max sleeping capacity is equal to half of the standard max occupancy restriction for the property.

Starter Amenity Packs: At Beachwalk Vacations, we provide essential items for our guests to use until they can stock up at the store. For the bathrooms, we supply two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, along with basic amenities such as shampoo and a soap bar (similar to hotel-style, but not restocked during your stay). We also provide professionally laundered bed linens and towels with your reservation. For your convenience, we recommend bringing your own beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

    The townhome was really nice & met all of our needs. There were some minor cleanliness issues (garage refrigerator, kitchen countertop under appliances). In addition there were missing start up amenities ie. dish soap, hand soap, etc.).

    Very nice condo and great location! This property was very clean and spacious. Using the golf cart was wonderful! Close to the beach, great restaurants and shopping! Can't wait to come back!

    The house was nice and the neighborhood was good. We enjoyed the golf cart and the bikes. I was a little disappointed with there was no balcony as pictured for unit A, also all the rooms are on the upper floors, the area is golf cart friendly but traffic is kinda busy there. We were never able to find a parking spot at the Chill but we were able to ride our bikes there. I liked it was only 15 miles from Panama City. Go there for beach access but Gulf Lake access is good to. I enjoyed my stay!

    Excellent in every single way! The place was beautiful and spotless! I enjoyed sipping my coffee every morning on that perfect patio enjoying the sunrise! I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back :)

    Hi, This was our third time staying in one of the condos at The Prominence and we were very disappointed by our experience. The lack of attention to detail and cleanliness were certainly overlooked. We believe the pictures advertised should accurately portray what we should receive from an expensive vacation home. There were gnats all throughout the condo, the back porch was filthy and the outdoor furniture covered in dirt. The washing machine didn't work properly and several of our clothes now have permanent stains as a result. The beach chairs were rusty and most of the bikes had issues so we couldn’t safely ride them. The garage was very dirty and there were empty beer cans from the previous tenants. The fridge was dirty and had dead bugs in it.

    Our stay was perfect in every way! The home was updated, spacious, and impeccably clean upon arrival. They also thought of all details including items you might need while traveling. The hosts were very responsive before and during our stay. My kids loved using the gold cart to get around. It’s also located in a great spot across street from the Big Chill which has different food options and a lot of activities for kids and families. We will definitely be back to this area. Don’t hesitate to book!

    The electric golf cart was great; as well as the bikes. Beautiful home and location. If the prices didn’t fluctuate, we would have booked the same house again for the next month! We certainly enjoyed our stay.
