Master bath area has a walk in closet, travertine (real stone) shower stall, and new toilet, sink, exhaust fan and light fixtures. Guest bath has tub, shower, and is newly tiled with all new fixtures as well. the kitchen and dining area sports a new dishwasher, electric stove with stainless hood, built in microwave, a huge walk-in pantry, double door refrigerator with ice maker and through the door water dispenser, toaster, blender, and quality flatware and service for 8. There is a 60 inch plasma TV in the living room, and LCD TV's in the bedrooms and kitchen. The home has vaulted ceilings and an 'open air' feel with lots of skylights and pocket doors that disappear into the walls leaving a vast open view of the spacious deck, the dock, the water and wildlife. A large 2 car garage and driveway should take car of your vehicles, but there is extra parking nearby for boat trailers and possibly an RV. Because of issues with parties and disruptive events, many guests and even hosts have been removed from certain booking platforms. We're in agreement with that. We aren't interested in alienating our neighbors or having our listing suspended for you. brbr brbrThere are security cameras on the front door and aimed at access points to the property. They are for your protection and ours. None are installed indoors or aimed at inside areas. The backyard cameras cover entrances to the courtyard and walls. We had to install the cameras, not for burglars but because we've had guest counts that exceeded what was reserved. This is not nice. Please be honest. We price based on how many are staying in the home. And we make sure it is a good value for either a retired couple of snowbirds or a big family on an adventure-filled vacation. And, even if you leave our home as clean as when you arrive, as required, the size of the group still makes a big difference in how much time and work our housekeeper has to do with laundry, etc brbr brbrAnd then there are pets. Please don't try to sneak any in without including them in the booking. We need to make sure they are included in your damage insurance. All pets must be crated if left alone in the house. Larger docking area can accommodate up to a 40' boat and the floating dock can accommodate up to a 25' boat. The dock is a fishermen's dream with rod holders, fish cleaning station, lots of hoses for rinsing and shore power available. There is a large yard for the kids to play with a swing and 4 Adirondack chairs on the large dock for relaxing by the water and 4 Adirondack chairs by the wood burning firepit. A newly added boathouse rounds out the this backyard dream! The boathouse has club chairs, a smart tv, bar area, half bath and outdoor shower! There are two kayaks with vests and whistles to enjoy on your stay. When you aren't outside enjoying the view, the inside of the home offers just as many comforts. The primary and guest bedroom have en-suite bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a king size bed, two night stands and dresser. The connecting bathroom has a dual sink vanity and shower with LED rain showerhead. The second suite has a king size bed and twin bunk beds and two night stands. The bathroom is a tub/shower combo. Both bedrooms have luggage racks to make your stay more comfortable. There is a small bunk room with a triple bunk bed. there is a full bathroom in the front of the home for guests to use. There is a laundry room with stackable washer and dryer. Starter laundry supplies are included. The dining room table seats 6 with three additional seats at the kitchen island. There is also a coffee bar with Keurig coffee maker. Starter supplies of coffee, creamer and sugar are there so you can relax right away! We also have games for the whole family! The kitchen is open to the rest of the house. The kitchen is stocked and ready for some entertaining! There is a blender, toaster, griddle and airfryer! The appliances are new. The stove is electric smooth surface and the microwave has convection. We have supplied ceramic as well as plastic dishes and drinkware. In the kitchen you will find a portable Sonos speaker. The family room may be one of our favorite places to spend time. The large sectional sofa is just the place to relax and reminisce on your day! The large ottoman is great for resting your feet, or you can tuck it against the couch and have a large area for chilling and watching movies. The 75 smart tv with Govee lighting is perfect for movie nights. The lighting will match the lighting on the tv, creating an awesome movie watching experience. The outside patio has a sectional sofa with propane fire pit. There is also a 6 person outdoor dining set. Spend time with friends and family while also admiring the view! The view is the BEST part of this home. The home sits on a large canal. We are just one home away from Homosassa River, making it easy access to the Gulf of Mexico or Homosassa Springs. We are close to the end of the no wake zone, making the Gulf access much quicker. Whether you want a weekend alone, some family time or get away with your friends...Old Homosassa is the place to be!
