This recently new West Shore cabin is located on a quiet street in a neighborhood known for its abundance of beautiful trees. The roomy cabin and 1/3 acre lot are perfect for multi-family or large group getaways. The kitchen was designed with the chef in mind and features granite countertops, dual oven range with griddle and two sinks. The kitchen opens to a large family room with a 50' plasma TV, gas fireplace and new leather couches and chair. You can listen to your music collection over the in-ceiling speakers by connecting your device via your USB cable.brbrThe large family room opens to the covered deck via 2 sliding glass doors, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful weather in Lake Tahoe year round. The deck features a Weber BBQ for grilling up your favorite meals and seating area to enjoy dining outside. Don't worry about any smoke from the BBQ; the deck features it owns vent hood above the BBQ.brbrOff of the family room are two large bedrooms with a shared bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed and the second has a bunk bed and a single twin. The bathroom has a tub shower with beautiful Travertine tile and granite countertops.brbrDownstairs, the master suite features a king bed, gas fireplace, plasma TV and sitting area with loveseat and desk. The appropriate exemption documentation is on file with the applicable booking platform. brYour dog must be crated if left in the house alone for more than 10 minutes. Guests are responsible for providing the dog crate for this purpose. Barking, howling, crying, and/or other prolonged noise is prohibited at all times, and specifically while the dog is left in the house alone. This neighborhood and the Tahoe Community in general are VERY sensitive to pet owners who do not pick up their pets’ waste or “leave the baggie to be picked up on the way back”. It is against the ordinances of Placer, Nevada, Eldorado, and Washoe County to leave pet waste anywhere (even in the forest). Due to the sanitary nature of our cleaning service’s responsibilities, an additional $125 pet waste removal fee will be charged if a pet waste complaint is received regarding your stay or if pet waste is found anywhere on the property. brbr04. Maximum ParkingbrThis home allows a maximum of two (2) vehicles. Street parking is not available in this neighborhood and additionally may not be permitted by local laws. Guest(s) accept full responsibility for vehicle damage, theft, fines, or loss while on or off the property. There is no parking in the garage.brbr05. No SmokingbrSmoking (including vaping) is not allowed anywhere on the property—inside or out. Should a violation of this policy occur, an immediate $500 remediation fee will be assessed, your reservation will be immediately terminated, and you will forfeit all fees paid.brbr06. Quiet HoursbrQuiet hours are between 9 PM and 8 AM. Quiet is defined as the absence of voices, music, and other noises anywhere outside of the residence. The County Ordinance Enforcement Officers and the neighboring community are extremely sensitive to the strict enforcement of this policy. Response to a noise violation report may result in a $1,500 County Ordinance Violation Fee. In addition, should a violation of this policy occur, your reservation will be immediately terminated, and you will forfeit all fees paid.brbr07. Trash & RecyclingbrThis is bear country. We love and respect them, and everyone must accept responsibility for keeping them alive and the property damage-free. The Lake Tahoe Community is highly sensitive about the responsible disposal of trash and any type of wildlife attractant(s). Local residents routinely report violators to the local Sheriff’s Department, without warning. Bears that enter a residence, garage, or vehicle are subject to euthanasia by the Department of Fish & Game. Please know that it is against State Law to leave any type of trash or wildlife attractant unattended. Therefore, all trash and recycling must always be securely placed inside the locked metal bear box at the end of the driveway. Overflow garbage and recycling must be taken off-site by the Guests and never left in a garage, vehicle, near a door or window, or any other unsecured outdoor location. Guests assume financial responsibility for all violations of the law. Local and State fines for improper storage and/or disposal range between $1,500 and $5,000 per occurrence. In addition, should a violation of this policy occur, your reservation will be immediately terminated, you will forfeit all fees paid, and the Property Owners will be entitled to reimbursement by the Guests for loss of revenue due to revocation of their Short Term Rental Permit.brbr08. Housekeeping and Check Out PracticesbrYour cleaning fees cover a standard level of service, including floors and surfaces, linen changes, and laundry processing. Unlike a hotel, this is a personal residence, and as such, the cleaning fee does not accommodate excessive or unanticipated services not typically required for a residential stay. Thank you for caring for this property as if it were your own. brAfter you check out of the property, there may be a period of time before the cleaning service arrives. Our bears are very motivated by homes with accessible food and trash smells (even when the doors and windows are closed), so we kindly ask that Guests please:brbr(1) Secure all remaining trash in the bear box or dumpster provided, ensuring the door is firmly closed and locked.br(2) Load the dishwasher with any remaining dirty dishes and start the wash cycle.br(3) Leave used beds unmade (no bedding on the floor, please).br(4) We appreciate you collecting all dirty towels and placing them near the washing machine - we always love it when guests start the first load when they leave.br(5) Return Amenties Passes. Interruptions or lack of availability of any of these services and/or amenities do not alter the terms of the Rental Agreement.brbr10. Security CamerasbrAs a function of our bear awareness, your safety, and the security of the property, exterior-only motion-activated security cameras may monitor the front door, driveway, side yards, and other common areas. Tampering with or disabling cameras is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of your reservation and forfeiture of all fees paid.brbr11. Property & Property UsebrThis property is for residential vacation use only. Events, commercial activities, subletting, or transferring your reservation to another party are not permitted. In the unlikely event of eviction or other actions required to enforce the Rental Agreement Rules & Policies, an hourly administrative fee of $35 per hour will be charged to the Guests.brbr12. ReservationsbrFor weekend stays, all Friday night reservations must include the following Saturday night. Our classic Lincoln Log cabin is in a sunny spot in TAHOE PINES, which is one of the West Shore's most beloved neighborhoods. Tahoe Pines is excellent for strolling the beach and walking in the woods year-round. It is a sunny, friendly place. You just might get hooked. :-) 12 mi to the Palisades at Tahoe (Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows) Ski Areas. Local's tip: When is the absolute best time to visit Lake Tahoe Fall!
