Villa Golden Garden with 50sqm private pool

A beautiful part of Croatia, the villa was perfect for a quiet week away. Clean and spacious, our daughter loved the pool, the trampoline and the swing. there is a small shop and a bar about 1 minutes walk and some local restaurants which were very good too. Would definitely recommend

We enjoyed a delightful week in this villa. The accommodation is well equipped, clean and modern with a touch of luxury. The pool was cleaned every day and a great place to cool off. The owners were lovely - not at all imposing but welcoming and provided a number of treats throughout the week. The area is beautiful and has many activities to enjoy. Walking around Gata, including the Illyrian river trail, sampling a couple of the local restaurants, ziplining across the river gorge, taking a boat down the river and relaxing on the local beaches. We would throughly recommend this villa for a wonderful stay.

We had an amazing time staying at Antonela's villa. We stayed for a week on 30th May and the whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. For any family looking for a villa in Croatia I would highly recommend this place as the area around Split and Omis is a real treat for families. My children enjoyed the swimming pool and trampoline and local restaurants and we will definitely be returning

The house was very beautiful and lovingly furnished. We were welcomed very friendly and felt very comfortable the whole stay. We were provided with vegetables and fruit from their own wonderful garden and were served delicious pancakes. The large garden and saltwater pool were the perfect relaxation in the middle of a lovely landscape surrounded by mountains. The quiet village of Gata offers a calm and relaxing holiday. After a 20-30 minutes walk you have a fantastic view into the Cetina valley. After a 15 minutes drive you are reaching Omis, which offers a lot of activities and a sandy beach. Remember to take a parking ticket, because the traffic police give out parking tickets very fast. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. A lovely apartment on the edge of a small quiet village, ideally located for travelling along the Dalmatia coast between Split and Dubrovnik.  The apartment was very comfortable and spacious, and well equipped. The owners who live close by, made us very welcome on arrival, and “looked after us” during our stay with a number of home baked cakes and some home-made brandy liqueur. There is a large garden with terrace and swimming pool, which gives good views of the surrounding mountains.  A small supermarket with essentials, is just 100m away. I can’t recommend this apartment highly enough, and would love to stay there again.

Croatia is a stunningly beautiful country with an incredible coastline that is shadowed by some amazing towering rocky mountains. Gata itself is a quiet village where you can truly relax while taking in the surrounding views. A short yet epic journey from the house takes you down to the coastal town of Omis where you'll find plenty of shops, restaurants, and a lovely beach. A hire car is a must and proved to be a great way to explore Croatia. We very much enjoyed a day in Split, strolling along the promenade admiring all the luxury yachts and of course sampling the local food and drink. The villa was impressive, offering pretty much everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. The kitchen was well stocked, and a small selection of treats throughout our stay was a welcomed touch. The saltwater swimming pool was a real pleasure, especially in the 30+ degree summer heat! At the end of a long day, the terrace was the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine while watching​ the sun pass below the distant hills.​ Myself, partner and 8-month-old daughter had a fantastic time and would all highly recommend Gata for a memorable holiday destination.
