Stayed Aug 17, 2019Superb location for visiting the region of Dalmatia. The villa is well appointed, well equipped and extremely comfortable. Ante and his parents do live on the ground floor but are unobtrusive. We rarely saw them unless we needed some advice or when they were dropping off supplies of fresh figs, beef tomatoes, plums or home cooked pastries. Split, Trogir, Sibenik are all within easy travelling distance with Omis being the local town. Gata the village is small but does have a small bar, two small grocery stores and a take away pizza/ burger bar (which sells only four type of pizza but which are surprisingly good!). I would definitely recommend this location if you enjoy the great outdoors as there is so much to see and do in this region. It has been very hot over the past two weeks so the pool has been an added bonus. Really sad to be going home. Thanks once again to Ante, Mum and Dad it’s been great!
