Binder Lake Lodge offers 4 bedrooms, 3 queen bedrooms upstairs with a full bathroom, a king bed in the Master Bedroom with full bathroom located on the main floor. In the Great Room there is a queen hide a bed, a youth EZ lounger bed. In the lower level of the Lodge you will find 3 queen Futon/hide-a beds. These accommodations will sleep 8 adults .br In the Lower Level you will also find a wet bar, full size pool table, dart board, 2 flat screen TVs and the 3rd full bathroom. br The Lodge is situated on 13 acres bordered on three sides by National Forest while the fourth side is surrounded by1,700 feet of partial sand shoreline on a 30- acre private lake, Binder Lake, which offers excellent pan fishing.br Greet your guests into the stunning Great Room, boasting a soaring exposed beam cathedral ceiling, huge full wall fieldstone fireplace and raised hearth, Glass patio doors with oval topped windows that open up to the expansive wrap around deck with gorgeous lake and wooded views. The property also includes a 630 sq. ft. log lakeside event building and a 20 ft. octagon gazebo on the point of the lake.br Binder Lake Lodge acreage features 1/2- mile ATV/snowmobile/walking looped trail with benches to sit and enjoy the views along the way. There are flower beds, 4 fire pits, and a dock with bench seating and gazebo overlooking the lake which has a nice sandy beach. There are 4 picnic tables throughout the lodge property.brbr A prime hunting location with 3 established ground blinds and 1 tree stand on Lodge property in the middle of the National Forest, with numerous lakes within a six- mile radius of the lodge that sits between Lakewood and Townsend. Activities include access to area Snowmobile/ATV trails. ATV Rentals and Guided Tours are available just three miles from Lodge in Lakewood by Northwoods Powersports Adventures. Snowmobile Trails are well kept up by Paul Bunyan snowmobile and Red Arrow Snowmobile/ATV clubs along with Bear Trail ATV club. There is plenty of room to park your 4 place trailers. There is room for horseback riding in our area. Binder Lake Lodge has also been the venue for small weddings and reunions in our natural surroundings.brbr Newly reopened Paul Bunyan Ski Hill, just one mile from our Lodge, features a family friendly venue, seven runs and a beginners Bunny hill. br Just 4 miles from the Lodge you will find McCauslin Brook Golf Course on Cty highway F In Lakewood and 2 miles East on F across from the golf course you will find Heritage Golf Park which features a Driving Range and Practice Greens.br During the Winter months our Golf Course becomes home for our Cross Country Ski Club and home of the Lakewood XC Ski Trails. Seven miles to the North of Binder Lake Lodge you will find Potawatomi Carter Casino for your fun and enjoyment. Our 4-bedroom cottage is located on 50 feet of prime frontage on Wheeler Lake. Wheeler Lake is a spectacular spring fed lake around 300 acres. Our property offers stunning views of the lake from all levels and upper deck. Also located on the East shore, take a moment and watch that gorgeous sunset! The newly installed aluminum pier is 32' long, the perfect length for a boat or pontoon, fishing, and jumping into the crystal clear water. The end of the dock has fishing rod holders and BENCH! Tie up your boat to the left, swimming area is on the right with a sand bottom and stairs leading straight into the water. Spend your time here fishing, swimming, or boating on the fully recreational lake. Or, enjoy the area's vast trail system perfect for ATV/UTV's & snowmobiles. We have plenty of space for parking trucks, cars & boat trailers. brbrInside the cottage on the main level is a fully equipped kitchen with several small appliances, 4 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, living room furniture, and a dining table. Also on the main level, is a workspace with desk, lamps for extra lighting, and outlets. Perfect for working remote!brbrWe have Starlink internet available and included with this property! Soak up the sun and fresh air while working remotely or streaming your favorite TV shows. We are extremely excited about this feature!brbrThe partially renovated walkout lower level is open concept. Board & batten walls, new flooring, kitchenette, and all new furniture. There is a full bathroom, a Full size sofa bed, sectional reclining sofa, and dining table. The full bathroom is recently renovated from the ground up! It's a work of art! A twin over twin daybed is also in the lower level for extra sleeping space. The kitchenette is complete with cabinets, sink, countertop, microwave & refrigerator. There is also a second smart TV and living room next to the walkout patio overlooking the lake. Laundry is also downstairs. This open concept area is the perfect recreational space for lounging, snacking, and hanging out with friends & family. brbrBaby gates, pack n' play, booster seat, children’s dishware and child safety locks for cabinets and outlets are available for use also. We are a family friendly rental having small children of our own.brbrConcrete steps lead down to a paved fire pit area beneath mature Red Pine trees. Located just above the dock where you can take in the sunset and enjoy time around the campfire with family and friends. brbrWheeler Lake is a fully recreational lake during the hours of 11:00AM-6:00PM, with no-wake hours before and after. Fish include Panfish, Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. The lake's water clarity is VERY CLEAR. A dock is installed with stairs leading right into the water. We have a dedicated swimming area with a sand bottom, and a separate area to tie up a boat or jet ski(s). The pier is 32' long from the boardwalk. A paddle boat is available for guest use, life jackets are provided. The whole area by the fire pit and dock is well lit at night with dock lights and a flood light. Basic water toys & beach towels are provided for guest use. Patio chairs are also provided. Parking is available for boat & jetski trailers behind the garage (across the road), and to the left-hand side. brbrA public beach is located across Wheeler Lake with a soft sand bottom and play area perfect for young children. If you own a boat or jet ski(s), there is a public boat launch in the bay of the lake as well.brbrLakewood and the surrounding area boasts a vast trail system which can be accessed just a short drive from the cottage. This trail system is perfect for ATV/UTV, snowmobile, biking, hiking, horse and cross country skiing. Also worth noting is a 3 STORY candy & ice cream shop, an 18-hole golf course right off of HWY F, a local winery, large grocery store, a new Dollar General, and several bars and restaurants open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
