Enjoy a getaway at Wheeler Lake Family Retreat

This place is just right for our group. It has everything you need for a winter stay in the northwoods. We had a flock of swans swim by the dock which was cool and the kids loved playing on the zipline!

This was our second year here and once again had a wonderful time. The house and amenities are as stated and the host is spectacular. We are planning for our hat trick weekend. Awesome just awesome. Thanks Jeff

The house is comfortable and has all the toys you need for a lake house vacation. The water access/ beach is great. We fished every day and caught enough for a great fish fry for our party of 9.

Our entire family enjoyed the week, and voted to rebook for next year.

Everyone had a grand time! The house is amazing with so many opportunities. The 7 year olds were able to kayak to the local beach. We tired a Lilly pad onto the pier and the platform which allowed the 3 year old to easily get to the platform. Water is deep for the kids but life jackets did the trick. We loved the different cooking opportunities. Lots of very large panfish were caught. The only negative is that we only booked the week.

This was everything we wanted. From the kayaks and Lilly pad to the fire pit area, the zip line and outdoor eating spaces, and the perfect layout of the house with 5 bedrooms and the bunk beds. It truly was perfect for us!

All was as advertised. Good place for a weekend get away.

Wheeler Lake is fantastic, big enough to enjoy all sorts of water activities with a high level of comfort. This location was in a quieter little cove area yet conveniently close to everything.

Jeff is an outstanding host. He was quick to reply to all of our messages. This property provided fun and comfort for the varied ages in our family. We enjoyed fishing, pontoon rides and swimming on the lake. The cabin had all the comforts of home and plenty of room for our group! We hope to be back next year!

This house provided us the perfect family getaway. There was enough room to fit a group of 13 people comfortably. We enjoyed ours days on the lake (tubing, kayaking, swimming, playing on the lily pad) and our nights by the fire. This house allowed our family to make countless memories!
