The third bedroom is an open loft with two full beds that can sleep 4 kids or 2 adults. The second bathroom has been completely remodeled with a new tub and tile surround, a handmade rustic vanity, and full-length mirror.brbrThe newly renovated kitchen boasts hunter green cabinets, gold accents, and open shelving. Featuring a stainless-steel range, apron sink with garbage disposal, full-sized stainless-steel refrigerator with water and with an icemaker, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher, this kitchen makes cooking and cleanup easy. Cozy nights by the fireplace, a peaceful soak in the private hot tub, cookouts with the griddle and fun nights at the fire pit will keep you feeling relaxed before and after your trip. Resort access (including indoor/outdoor pools) for $5/person/day (see below for details). A pass is needed for each person age five and over, per day. The cabin is less than 2 hours from DC and Baltimore, but sitting around the fireplace while you look out the floor to ceiling windows and see only the forest, you'll feel a million miles away.brbrOutside the cabin, sit back in the private hot tub, listen to the babbling creek down below, grill up some dinner, and hang out around the fire pit roasting marshmallows.brbrBedroom: Queen BedbrLoft: 2 Twin Bedsbr1 Full BathroombrbrThe cabin is a great getaway spot for couples, small families, and small groups of friends, as it has all the comforts of home in a beautiful forest setting.brbrPrep meals in the kitchen, which is outfitted with stainless steel appliances (please note: no dishwasher or garbage disposal), granite countertops, and basic cooking supplies like salt, pepper, and oil. You also have access to a grill on the deck, with propane provided. When you wake up, enjoy a hot cup of coffee or tea on the deck with the Keurig and provided supplies (K-Cups, sugar, creamer packets). We also have a traditional drip coffee machine.brbrMake use of the high-speed WiFi to stream your favorite movies and shows on the smart TV's in the living room and main bedroom (please bring your own login). If you'd rather disconnect for a while, you can hang out in the hot tub or around the firepit, or take a walk down to the beautiful creek and listen to the sounds of nature for a while (the walk back up can be a little challenging). You can also hike the many trails in the area, tour local wineries and distilleries, and explore our history in Harpers Ferry. There is a big driveway where you can park several cars and a carport to keep your car protected if you'd like. The community clears snow off of the paved roads, but not the driveway, so if it snows a lot or icy conditions are forecasted, we would suggest parking at the top of the driveway (which is close to the cabin) if you don't have a 4WD. There is a snow shovel available just in case you need it. This is not normally a problem... we just want you to be aware of the weather so you can prepare if needed.brbrThe cabin is baby friendly and has a high chair, pack 'n play, baby gate for the stairs, and outlet covers. Please be aware that the rails of the loft railing are spread apart wider than normal, which is great for the view out the back window, but not so much for unattended small children in the loft.brbrWe have 2 outdoor security cameras - 1 in the carport and and 1 at the screen door. They are always on and record on motion for security purposes.brbrWe have a strict NO SMOKING policy.brbrPlease Note: Staying at our cabin, you will be able to use the golf course and spa (additional fees apply).
