This little Pond view Cabin is furnished with a Queen size bed and a queen size Futon sleep sofa, Pub table 2 chairs, and 2 solar lights, bedding, and a outside fire pit with a grill on top for cooking. There is a small shower house with instant hot water located along the driveway for your use.. NOTE: THE SHOWER HOUSE WILL BE CLOSED NOV THRU MARCH. There is a porta potty approx 35 ft from the cabin. There is a battery operated lantern in the cabin for your use to get you to and from the outhouse at night, there are also some outside solar lights as well.There is a small battery operated fan to help keep you cool on hot days and a battery operated radio to listen to some music. We also have a small camp propane cook stove available for your use. brNOTE: There is no running water or electric in this cabin, therefor no AC but there is usually a nice breeze under the shade trees. There is a propane wall heater for those chilly nights. There is a fire pit for camp fires and cooking, we supply wood for the first fire and additional firewood is available for purchase..There is a hydrant next to the shower house should you need water. For fun there is a corn hole game available at the cabin. .brJust bring your essentials, a cooler of food and beverages, and a camera to capture the memories and leave your worries behind. brbrPETS: brWell behaved and house broken pets under 50lbs are welcome ONLY WITH PRIOR APPROVAL. Enjoy exploring the historical sites or relaxing on the spacious porch with a cool drink. This newly renovated home is the perfect place to enjoy Lewisburg!brbrThis cosy 1930's cottage offers the opportunity to step back in time and immerse yourself in Lewisburg's roaring 30's (but with modern comforts!). This freshly renovated cottage has an amazing history - it was home to several local identities (including Eileen Kramer, an Australian National Treasure dancer and acclaimed local furniture maker Ozzi May and his wife, Verdie). The cottage is our favorite place for hanging out with family and friends - particularly as we can walk everywhere (and leave the car at home)!. We love using the cottage as a base for exploring Lewisburg and know you will too! It's the perfect 'home away from home'!brThe house is small (great for 1-4 people) and has a spacious, well equipped kitchen (with new appliances), comfortable living area, study area with large desk, two comfortable bedrooms (with luxury linens) , separate laundry, a cute upstairs bathroom (with a clawfoot bathtub) and wonderful new large downstairs bathroom (featuring plush towels). . brOriginal artwork and crafts by local artists, (including my Dad, Ronald Refsland), is found throughout the house.brThe large covered porch is perfect for relaxing anytime of the day (even when it rains), people watching or for outdoor dining. You will enjoy views of Old Stone Church and the cemetery (directly across the street), Carnegie Hall and other historical sites. We have beautiful and comfortable outdoor furniture, including an antique iron outdoor dining table.brbrThe large patio (using original stone and local river rocks custom designed by a local artisan) behind the house is a more private space - with the original outdoor fireplace available for BBQ's or making s'mores.brThe large front yard is perfect for playing a friendly (or competitive!) game of Molkky or croquet (we have the games for you), brbrThe queen bed and two twin beds have brand new quality mattresses with quality linens and duvets and fluffy pillows. The towels are 100% cotton. This is a primitive tiny home 240 sq ft. It contains a queen size bed, A small sofa and a dinette. This cabin does have electricity with a refrigerator, microwave and a coffee maker. There is also a TV for watching DVDs which there are a assortment of DVDs that you are welcome to watch or you can bring your own. We supply bottled drinking water and there a water hydrant outside. There is a shower house with instant hot water and a utility sink attached to the side of the building. There is also a porti potty close by. A firepit is also supplied with enough firewood for your first fire, we sell firewood should you need more. All you need to bring are your essentials, food and clothes. Enjoy all the wild life that surrounds this cabin, there are plenty of dear,Turkey, rabbits, birds, etc plus you will see horses right outside your cabin. The quaint little town of Lewisburg WV has been recognized as a top-ranked Coolest small town in the United States. The towns unique blend of history, art, fine dinning, shops and outdoor recreation contributes to its appeal. Located only 4 miles away !! brAlso there are a tons of parks nearby for hiking, kayaking, fishing, biking, bird watching etc. This area is a photographers dream. A beautiful historic home one block off Main Street on a quiet street set in a beautiful garden. The rental is one whole side of an 1835 side-by-side duplex. Has its own private entrances and patios for relaxing. Beautiful spaces with large windows and high ceiling and a gas fireplace during the cold season. Basic rental is two bedrooms with 1 1/2 bathrooms. HOWEVER an adjoining additional bedroom is available with a queen size bed and en suite bathroom, for an extra $75/night. staying. Furnished with comfy couches, cotton linens, and a completely outfitted kitchen with clothes washer and dryer. All bedrooms are up stairs on the second floor.brAlthough the house is one block from the center of town, shopping, restaurants, theater, antique shops, galleries, etc., it is quiet and has a private setting. A walk down a garden path to your private entrance takes you into a country kitchen/dining room and a comfortable living room with mantels carved by Conrad Burgess, high ceilings, lots of windows and original wood floors. brThis is the 'Second North House'; this is the home that Charlotte and John North built when they left the First North House which is now The North House Museum. The beds are topped with memory foam, the sheets fine cotton, with duvets and fluffy pillows. The towels are 100% cotton and the shampoos and hand soaps are natural and high quality. You have your own fully outfitted kitchen, private updated baths and an outdoor grill on a private patio. Private and quiet, yet one short block from the quaint historical center.
