Most front-wheel drive vehicles have no trouble accessing the property from these roads if you drive safely and slowly. We do not recommend low-profile vehicles such as sports cars or motorcycles. During inclement weather such as snow or ice, you may be required to have 4-wheel drive or tire chains. We also recommend Travel Insurance during the winter months. We do not give refunds for road conditions that are out of our control.brbrbrbrOur cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. With 500 feet of riverfrontage on the property, there's plenty of space to paddle, swim, or relax on the bank. It is secluded and quiet. Only 25 minutes away from downtown Berkeley Springs, where you'll find hiking, fishing, shopping, dining, spas, antiquing, and state parks all nearby.brbrThis is a small cabin where you can have a lot of fun with family and friends. There is a closed door between the living room, where the couch is a Full bed, an air mattress is a Queen, and the futon chair, twin to the kitchen, into the master. You can see the clearing by the cabin, but if you're up for a challenging hike, you can hike up the mountain behind. You'll come to a large clearing with a horse barn and a road behind that. Cabin on the Water with its own Private Beach!

Great Cacapon, West Virginia, United States

This beautiful and recently remodeled cabin is in a league of its own! Possibly the only cabin in the surrounding area that has its own natural sand beach! The cabin sits nestled roughly 200 feet from the beautiful Cacapon River! Go down the gravel path to your very own river beach oasis, and make sure to keep your eyes peeled for our resident nesting Eagles and their Eaglets! You will see them practicing fishing or perching on their favorite trees very close to the beach! Best of all, the depth of the water provides a safe area for kids to swim but deep enough for adults to enjoy as well!brbrThe cabin was remodeled in 2020 with new floors, a concrete pad underneath the cabin for entertaining, a beautiful new tile shower, and a fire ring that you can sit next to while losing yourself in the sounds of nature and the view of the stars! Its open floor plan allows for the family to stay close! One full-size bed and a pull out sofa bed are all you need to enjoy the relaxation! Let's not forget the wrap-around deck where you can kick your legs up and let the sound of the river put you to sleep!brbrThe cabin has no internet or cable, but be sure to download all of your favorite Netflix shows and bring them along! You can also bring your favorite DVDs or VHSs! For those adults that enjoy a good game of Super Mario Bros, a Super Nintendo will be sure to bring back that childhood competitive spirit!brbrDo not forget your fishing poles, some of the best smallmouth fishing around can be enjoyed on many close sections of the river! Hiking trails to the rear of the cabin will lead you to find something you would expect to be native to Arizona, not WV. Be sure to explore the ground on the top of the hill. Leave what you find in your review :)brbrCome see why our cabin has been enjoyed by our family for almost 50 years!
