A fully equipped, modern kitchen, spacious dining area, cozy living space with fireplace, and a comfortable TV area will make this a family-friendly retreat you will long to return too. The spacious kitchen has stainless steel appliances, genuine linoleum flooring, granite countertops, and a large breakfast bar perfect for entertaining. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large four-plank, country-style farm table with bench seating, large enough to accommodate six people comfortably. The “Great Black Bear” room, and second bedroom on this floor, is really a treat for the kids or additional guests, with two twin-sized beds and a futon sofa for relaxing. There are three full baths, including two on the first floor and a dual bathroom with large soaking tub and separate shower in the master suite.brbrOutside is a large deck with year round views of surrounding mountains (including Timberline and Canaan Valley ski slopes), the National Wildlife Refuge just beyond a peaceful lake that hosts geese and other waterfowl. The screen distractions are minimal and the cabin games are plentiful. brbr4WD / AWD vehicles are a must to access the property - especially in the winter months. brbrOn the main floor you will find: br A well-outfitted kitchen with a kitchen island that seats 2. The kitchen has everything from an ice-cream maker to a fondue set as well as all the basics. The dining area has a table that seats as many as 8 and also doubles as a ping-pong table!br 2 steps down into the living room you'll find a large fireplace with a comfy couch and a foosball table as well as books, puzzles, board and card games. br Down the hall of the main floor you will find the master bedroom with queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom with shower. Across the hall is the 2nd bedroom with a full size bed and access to the hall bathroom with a tub and shower. Each of the main floor bedrooms have a door to a semi-private deck. Each one with an uninterrupted view of a gorgeous night sky.brOn the Basement level you will find:br Down a spiral staircase, is the 3rd bedroom which also doubles as a game room.
