Tree House, Hot Tub, Cozy ,Wifi, Secluded, Serene,View, Central Location

Everything about this property was wonderful. It’s a super cute home, fully stocked, and secluded. The driveway to the treehouse was a little scary but that was because it had rained for days before we got there. We had ages from 3-83 and everyone enjoyed the space. The host is super attentive and responded back to me immediately for any questions I had.

This was a great spot for a sibling reunion -- multiple floors with great amenities! I would highly recommend it.Lynn

The home was beautiful and well kept. The host checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed.

The host was very considerate and prompt in answering all our questions before and during our stay. We were well informed on what items were included and the layout of the bedrooms. The weekend was a little bit of a challenge with the snow, high winds and extreme cold temps but the view from the great room/dining area was stunning and it was cozy and warm with the fire going . Great place to have a family vacation!

We rented out this cabin for a nice relaxing weekend away with my friends and family. It was super cozy and comfortably fit the nine of us who stayed. The host was also very friendly and easy to get ahold of. I loved every second of being here and I would definitely recommend to everyone who will listen!

Grandkids were 5 to 24 adults were 45 to 76 good fit for everyone good hiking trails and parks scenic drives plenty of room everything we needed to prepare meals good choice

My family and I had a wonderful time at the tree house! Grace was super helpful and communicated with a quick response for anything we needed, places to go, etc. Location was central to all the good spots to visit in WV. The house its self felt very private even though there were houses all around, your covered by trees and wild plants. House was very clean and decorated tastefully. We had 8 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. We will definitely be visiting again.

Loved staying at this property - perfect for our two families with 4 adults, 6 kids and our dog. Nice patio to relax on in the evening, cozy living room space, we cooked in several meals. Close to a cute little town with good food/live music/ice cream and then all the hiking you could want. And the host was incredibly responsive.

Location and hot tub were our priorities. Access to trails up the road, can walk out the door to the trail! Hot tub was lovely. Good description of rooms and property including difficult road and driveway in winter and bedroom situation. The windows and views, obviously, are lovely. We had a great time!!

Great place and very responsive host. There was a neighborhood-wide power outage when we arrived, and the host responded immediately and through the evening with updates until it came back on. I gave 5 stars overall, but 3 for location. Luckily, everyone in our party had 4 Wheel Drive and had no issues, but if your group did not have that and came for a wintry weekend, you may have issues on a very steep gravel driveway. Actual location/proximity to things was wonderful though.The location was just as pictured, close to two ski resorts and shops/restaurants, wonderful hot tub plenty of space. We had a great weekend!

First a note for all future renters: if it is winter, you must have 4 wheel drive and/or chains on your tires. All wheel drive only won’t cut it!The house was perfect for our big group of skiers. We enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, watching movies, and hanging out in the hot tub after a day at White Grass. The views are amazing, and Grace was communicative.

My group of friends and I stayed here for a combined bachelor and bachelorette trip. Overall, the cabin was great and have great access to the surrounding areas. The cabin was clean and the hot tub was a highlight. The only concern for perspective visitors is the driveway during the winter season..

Clean and comfortable with great view and close to ski resort . Must have 4wheel drive

This VRBO was perfect for our group of 11 (three families, each with teenagers). We chose a rental in part based on the location: it's just 10 minutes from Davis and Thomas, which means quick runs to the grocery store and coffee shop, but also very close to trails on the west and south side of Dolly Sods. The cabin was built in the mid-90s and accordingly has a lived-in feel, but it's well maintained and comfortable. Our favorite space by far was the living room. It has walls and walls of windows, which give off fabulous light in the afternoon and an A+ view of sunrise at dawn. There's a great wood burning fireplace, a huge TV, and plenty of comfortable seating for everyone, plus you're right off the kitchen and dining room. We also enjoyed the hot tub several times! Perfect for warming up when it's 45-50 degrees outside! Bedrooms and bathrooms were more than adequate to suit everyone's needs, no complaints there. For anyone contemplating using the loft as a bedroom, it's helpful to know the futons are very hard (as futons tend to be), so maybe don't put a guest up there who prefers a soft cushy bed. Best suited for kids, or just keep it as a hangout space. Lastly, a big thanks to Grace and her husband for graciously hosting us. She was always accessible by text or phone throughout our stay to answer questions that came up. We hope to return sometime in the future, maybe next time in the spring when everything is blooming!

We loved the location here. Be aware that not all the bedrooms are private, something we wished we had known as a family of all adults. You have to walk through one of the queen rooms to get to the bunk room unless you go outside and up the steps. The master bedroom has an open wall to the main floor downstairs. Also all bedrooms require using the stairs. Something to be aware of when your booking includes elderly guests. This place is cozy and inviting.
