The old village is set around 15 km far from Cortona and Castiglion Fiorentino, prosperous towns in the lower Valdichiana rich in art and history. Cantalena, placed 600 mt over sea level, is reachable through a panoramic, unmade mountain road, approximately 3 km long, which winds among fresh woods and green valleys and is not advisable for sport cars but suitable for any other type of motor vehicle.Infinity pool and endless view on the below valley. The farmhouse, during past times, was part of the former Podere Cerniera estate which included cultivated fields, vineyards and chestnut woods, and still today the owners take good care of it. Podere Cantalena has at clients disposal a beautiful, infinity swimming pool (dim. mt. 10x5, depth mt. 1,50 - open from 01st May to 30th September), which is placed in the adjoining garden, realized on a very panoramic, natural terrace.
