We do NOT provide a garage door opener, but you may open the garage door from inside the house and park one vehicle in the garage.brbrOur neighborhood is car dependent and the house is on an unpaved road. It is still easily accessible in any vehicle - you do NOT need 4-wheel drive or a car that sits up higher. If you obey the speed limit, you shouldn't have any trouble navigating the street.brbrYou'll also have use of the private neighborhood lake just a short walk or quick drive from the house; access code can be sent upon request.brbrYou are bound to see our wildlife neighbors at some point during your visit, hence the neighborhood moniker Deer Creek Ranch! Please obey speed limit signs and be extra cautious around blind curves and backing out of the driveway. They are most active at dawn and dusk, but please be aware and watch for them at all times of the day, especially during fawning season from early spring and into summer. They often graze right in our front yard! We ask that you not try to touch them or feed them, but please enjoy their presence. They are a joy to sit and watch!brbrOur home is in a rural area. Though we treat the exterior to keep out pests, including insects and mice, this is a reality of our location. Our home may not be a fit for those who have phobias of insects or wildlife. It’s a unique 4 acre property with 5 modern tiny houses that sit on open range with free grazing livestock which occasionally show up as they do not belong to us. This tiny house comfortably sleeps 2 on a queen bed but we do have a sofa/futon that's great for kids. Enjoy sitting on the porch or at the picnic table under the trees to kick back and relax on a cool evening. We do allow pet guests but want to note that there is a $40 fee PER pet PER night so please be sure and include them on your reservation.
