Our house is located up a cove with partial lake views. There is a public boat ramp only minutes from the house by land or water if you choose to bring your own boat. While most properties on Lake Travis are at least an hour from downtown, our location is only 35 minutes from downtown Austin so you can enjoy the lake and nightlife. Great for couples and families with kids. Not suitable for events or loud groups/parties.brbrThe spacebrMy husband and I fell in love with Lake Travis and often come here to recuperate when the outside world gets too noisy. At our home, you'll find a haven to unwind, have a glass of wine, a stocked kitchen to prepare meals and all the sounds nature has to offer (cicadas, crickets and more wonderful noises!).brbrWe are situated in a quiet, beautiful corner of Lake Travis called Mermaid's Cove (currently water levels do not make our home lake front), We are just a 7 minute walk (.5 miles) or a 2 minute ride by boat to Sundancer Grill (bar, restaurant etc).brbrThere is a large grill, ample outdoor furniture (4 chairs, 2 loungers on our deck, two sitting areas on our main balcony and a living area located in the master bedroom balcony) and three parking spots for your group (1 car will fit in our covered car port, 3 cars behind that in our driveway. The extra long drive way is not a suitable place for more cars as you will need the room to turn your cars around (please do not use our neighbor's driveway). An elevator will whisk you up to the top floor. The impressive open floor plan offers an expansive living area, dining area, and kitchen on the top floor. The opulent living area features ultra-high ceilings and an abundance of windows, which flood the space with natural light. brbrThe dining area sits between the main living room and the kitchen. The high-top table seats four and the kitchen bar seats several more. The gourmet kitchen has top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances; including a Viking six burner range, Sub-Zero refrigerator, and two dishwashers. The black granite countertops are remarkable. brbrThe second living area is huge! It features a full wet bar, wine fridge, counter seating for four and a high-top table for four on the deck. The living room has a plush leather couch, a flat screen TV, arresting artwork, and another great view. The master bedroom has a king size bed, chic décor, and access to a private balcony. The master bathroom has a marble walk-in multiple head shower with glass bricks. The second guest room also has a king size bed, high-end décor, and great views.
