This unique cottage has an open concept living room/dining area with large windows and sliding glass doors to provide a panoramic view of Rice Lake.we updated the kitchen in 2019.brbrPeaceful Oasis is a 3 bedroom rental. It sleeps, 6 adults and 1 kid. brThe cottage is only 30 feet from the water and has a direct un-interrupted view of Rice Lake.brbrWE HAVE A NEW DOCK BUILT FOR 2016. brbrThis renovated cottage has 900 square feet of living space. A newly renovated open concept kitchen(2019), dining & living area that also looks out onto the lake. brbrThe main living area has 1 sofa bed, electric stove, a television and DVD player and dining area. The kitchen is fully outfitted with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and plenty of cupboard and counter space. THERE IS NO CABLE TV.brbrWe have a water cooler dispenser with distilled water for drinking. The cottage has 2 full 3 piece washrooms that have been upgraded with modern fittings including a modern spacious shower and tub. brbrThe deck provides a lovely view of the lake and sunsets over the water. The deck comes equipped with comfortable lounge chairs to enjoy outdoor meals and a BBQ.brbrPeaceful Oasis at Elm Grove Cottage Resort is located on the north shore of scenic Rice Lake at the mouth of the Otonabee River, a hotspot for fishing. The nightly rate for that night has been adjusted to reflect this late check in. brbrIf you have been to different lakes in Ontario, you’d probably know how beautiful, large, and clean Rice Lake is. Two Piggies Cottage is a spacious waterfront cottage that faces West, letting you enjoy the spectacular sunsets, everyday. Trust us, when you have seen the sunset here, nothing in life really feels matters but the beauty you are witnessing. br brTwo Piggies Cottage is a spacious, modern, luxurious 5-bedroom cottage with many features and amenities for a relaxing and worry-free getaway. Two bedrooms on the upper floor have lake views, walkout balcony and KING beds, one other bedroom has a QUEEN bed and another bedroom upstairs has a two TWIN beds (one slides out). On the main floor we have a bedroom downstairs there is a day bed that opens up to King. brbrOur cottage comfortably sleeps about 10 guests (5 bedrooms). On a case by case basis, we may permit larger group sizes, potentially with a security deposit. Note that group size refer to both adults and children inclusive.brbrAll water at the cottage is UV-filtered and perfectly drinkable, which makes it great for families with young kids. We are also pleased to offer full linen (duvet covers, bed sheets, and pillow sheets) but please bring your own towels. br brEnjoy the incredible view of the scenic Rice Lake from the balcony or patio or your own bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are each equipped with King beds with a shared, walk-out balcony for you to appreciate all the beauty of the lake all day. Kitchen is recently renovated for you to create meals that bond people together. The recently upgraded kitchen is fully equipped and includes a Stove, Fridge, Microwave, Drip Coffee Maker, Cookware, Dishes and Cutlery (there are enough cutlery for 10 people which is our target group size, please bring any additional cutlery you might need depending on your group). Other features include a 5 burner + side burner propane barbecue, large patio and a cozy inflatable hot tub that fits 2-4 adults, and a private dock. Come and enjoy your time with people you love :)brbrHot tub is not available during the winter. It is put away in storage to prevent damage. Per manufacturer instruction, hot tub can only be used when outdoor temperature is consistently above 4 Celsius, including overnight time. Hot tub need to be turned on approximately 4-12 hours in advance depending on outdoor temperature.brbrOTHER DETAILS:brbrThe entire cottage is exclusively yours for your enjoyment (except for unfinished basement). All cars must be parked in the driveway (and not on grass). br brRice Lake is famous for fishing, kayaking, boating, family fun, and generally enjoying life. You can also access many famous sightseeing places nearby, such as Prince Edward County, Sandbanks, etc.brbr- The most important rule is, please treat it like your own house.brbr- Remove outdoor shoes at front door. brbr- Guests to bring their own towels. brbr- The renter must be at least 25 years of age. Our cottage is located in a quiet family oriented area. Loud boisterous activity is not permitted. Our neighbours are quiet year-round residences. brbr- Absolutely NO smoking or vaping indoors.brbr- Regardless of your group size, please note bedding arrangement is as described in the listing. If you have a bigger group, please bring additional sleeping bags, air mattresses, blankets, pillows to suit your group to ensure maximum comfort.brbr- No pets on any of the furniture (sofa or beds). Pets must be fully dry before coming back inside the home.brbr- Hot tub may or may not be working. The host is under no obligation to provide a refund if the hot tub is not working during your stay. The host does regularly have the hot tub inspected and cleaned, but on occasion there might be unexpected failure that may result in loss of use of the hot tub (or other facilities in the property such as internet, BBQ, TV, etc)brbr- Firewood is not provided. Although there are often extra firewood, we do not ensure they are refilled. Please bring your own firewood and any thing you might need to start-up and enjoy the campfire experience. brbr- Although we love pets, our cleaning process regrettably restrict pets. Pet will need to be approved in advance and if approved, pet fee of $100 per pet will apply. If you will have more than one pet, please let us know. brbr- Leave the place as you find it. Guests must take all garbage and recycling away, except for 1 (one) bag of organic-only waste which must be bagged in clear bag (per city requirement, all garbage must be bagged in clear bag for inspection). Every additional bag above the allowance of 01 bag of organic waste will result in additional fee of $50 per bag. The city has very strict rules regarding garbage and even a minor mix up would result in garbage & recycle not being collected.brbr- Hot tub and outdoor furniture are only available from June - Oct. They are put away during winter season.brbr- All guests staying at the property must be disclosed at time of booking or updated in reservation before check in. Undisclosed guests will be charged at $200 per guest per night. brbr- No third-party booking. As per Airbnb policy, guests making the reservation must be the one checking-in and staying the duration of the booking.br
