Located close to the centre of the village, this apartment is great for large families or groups of friends.brbrThis is a unique place. It was designed in the 70’s when people loved timber walls and stone fireplace's. It has a very different feel when you are in it versus looking at the pictures - its very cosy! We point this out as people always say they really like it when they go inside but we have only had poor comments from people who only see the photos - it does not photograph well.brbrFACILITIES: The apartment features a large fireplace, 2 bathrooms, one car space at the apartment, TV & DVD player & fully equipped kitchen. Note that Steins has extensive heating throughout, the fireplace is only needed for aesthetic purposes. Hot water is dual gas + electric.brbrBEDS & BEDROOMS: Bedroom #1: Queen bed; Bedroom #2: Queen bed + single bed.brbrNOTE: Made up beds & towels costs extra $35/double $25/single. Organise directly with us after booking if you book via Home Away. Most people opt to BYO which means 2 sheets per bed, a pillowcase and towel each, bathmat(s) and tea towels. We always provide doonas, pillows, mattress protectors.brbrMOUNTAIN BIKING: There is a large balcony which is great for storing bikes. There is also space in the entry area for 2-3 bikes. If bikes are clean and dry you can bring them into the huge living room.brbrPARKING: There is onsite parking for one car.brbrEXTRA PARKING: Extra cars can be parked in Thredbo's huge long term carparks. You can unload at the property then move your car(s). You can get the free shuttle bus back (the carpark is 600 metres away from where you are staying). Few people ever need to use their car once they have arrived.brbrSECURITY BOND: Before check in we require a $500 security bond - this is usually a credit card pre-authorisation (not a charge). Its possible to do this via HomeAway(Stayz) but they will charge your card and then later refund it which is not the right way to do it.
