Note, this house was built in 1991, so it is not as old as other houses in the neighborhood. It looks historic, but doesn't feel like it. That is a good thing! It is a simple unit meant for enjoying the beach. It has WIFI (no cable), and a washer/dryer. The beach, which is exactly 1/2 mile down Jefferson street is a 10 minute walk away. This is a simple upstairs unit, not the Ritz Carlton.br brCape May was requiring guests to bring their own sheets, towels, blankets and pillows. Our housekeeping service has requested, and we have agreed, to continue this practice for the 2022 season. If you have an issue with this because you are flying in, please let me know. We are close to everything downtown. Once you get here, you don’t “need” a car.brbrGuest access:brThis unit is 100% self contained. The welcoming stairs lead to a spacious, front porch with awnings all around. It is the most perfect spot for morning coffee or enjoy a glass of wine at night while watching the horse and carriages pass by. Enter the house, and find a large living room PLEASE NOTE: the FIREPLACE in the home is decorative only and NOT available for guest use. that leads to a dining room with seating for up to ten guests. The eat-in kitchen has a table that seats six and opens to a covered deck that also has a table and chairs for six. A powder room completes the first floor. The second floor has 4 bedrooms with 2 full baths with ample closet space. The third floor has 2 additional bedrooms with another full bath. PLEASE NOTE LINENS NOT PROVIDED The house boasts hardwood floors throughout, a detached one car garage with off-street parking for two cars. The secluded back yard is well manicured with picturesque gardens and a beautiful pergola with overhead lighting and seating. A great place to get away and perhaps read a book. The basement includes a washer, dryer and second refrigerator. There is an additional $300 Owner Expense Fee attached to all reservations. **BLANKETS PROVIDED**

Our kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and all of the essential cookware. Our home is located less than a mile for the North Cape May Beaches and around 3 miles to Downtown Cape May and Cape May Beaches. Please be sure to add your dogs to the reservation so it will calculate the correct charge based on your stay. We permit up to 2 well behaved house broken dogs per stay.

First floor has a queen pull out, second floor has two queen bedrooms and a sitting room with a queen pull out, third floor has has three king beds and front bedroom has rollaway bed. Washer and dryer and bicycles in the basement. Two living rooms with tv and couches, full kitchen with subzero refrigerator. Restored hardwood floors, original wood moldings and trim. Gorgeous front porch that is great for people watching complete with rocking chairs, a retractable power awning and lighted ceiling fans. Sit back and watch the antique trolley tours go by, horse drawn carriages and the annual Christmas parade. Parking for three cars. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy the shore. Two blocks from the beach and just steps to the Washington Street Mall, the famous Congress Hall Hotel, and many of Cape May s most popular restaurants and cafes. This is a pet friendly property. If bringing a dog an additional $150 fee will be added to the lease after booking. If bringing more than one dog please contact us for fee.
