Enjoy dining or playing games in a cozy eating nook. The cottage also has a wonderful stone gas fireplace. Summertime enjoy the eating area above the boathouse or sitting on the deck porch swing with your morning coffee. Dock and boatlift and a canoe for your use. Many interesting local places to explore- quaint nearby towns with antique and vintage shops. Wonderful local restaurants. Wine tasting in Kimball and a new brewery in Annandale only minutes away. brFall time is beautiful on Lake Sylvia. Very peaceful with lovely reflections in the water from the colorful trees. Cool nights perfect for enjoying campfires under the stars or stay inside -the stone fireplace will keep you warm and cozy. brMany fun winter activities - Powder Ridge ski and tubing - great fun for the family. Also nearby parks with cross country ski trails. Snowshoeing and ice fishing right out the door. Christmas time is beautiful with the cottage nestled in the snow decorated with lights and greenery. Feels like your far away from the stresses of life. Beautiful 3 bedroom (including loft), 2 bathroom, cottage that sits on 85ft of lakefront property located steps away from crystal clear Lake Sylvia (17ft of water clarity). In addition to the cabin, we also have an air-conditioned bunk house with a full size Murphy bed and two sets of bunk beds (no bathroom). At the back of our 1 acre property there is a large shop that we've made into a game area. We have a basketball court, ping pong table and dart board for those rainy days. At the lakefront, we have two docks to accommodate your boat(s) and/or jet-ski(s) for lake cruising, or just relax on the dock and cast in a line. The lake is great for swimming and we have floaties for kids to use. End your swimming day by lighting a fire in our fire pit right on the water. The cottage has a massive deck with a large patio table that can accommodate up to 8 people comfortably - the view is gorgeous! Loons visit the property often, and occasionally you’ll see a crane or bald eagle hanging around. Inside the cabin, the kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, stove, etc. The living room has a fireplace, TV and DVD player with plenty of movies for adults & kids. There are 2 bedrooms. One is a Master and the other we call the 'tree house room' due to the full size bed and two bunk beds high above. Additionally, we have a loft space with a full size bed and storage space (bed linens provided). Gather in the family room while taking in the amazing Lake Sylvia views, this level is complete with an additional bedroom and three-quarter bathroom. A spiral staircase will lead you to the bunkroom that opens to another lakeside deck. You’ll certainly find fantastic views of Lake Sylvia from many lakeside decks complete with a large pergola. Many gathering spaces throughout invite you to entertain and relax in this spacious year-round cabin set on water’s edge. The rental comfortably sleeps 9 and offers kayaks, fire pit, propane grill, and fishing poles for you to enjoy. Whether it’s the pitter-patter of the kids’ feet as they anxiously await a dip in the lake or a night with friends around the bon-fire, this cabin is waiting for you to start making memories. LIMITED boat docking space, please talk to host if you have questions. During peak summer months we only allow Monday-Sunday rentals (6 night minimum). Max amount of guests is 8.
