We have not had issues with the noise, but we are mindful people and small children may be sensitive to the train horns. Please keep this in mind and reach out to us with any questions or concerns prior to your booking.brbrGuests will have access to all main floors of house except the basement and attic. The garage is available for guest use. The garage is very long and can fit two smaller car or one larger car. brbrThere is FREE street parking on the road on either side of the house. Please note we do not own the parking lot on the south side of the house. A perfect place to host weddings, family reunions, leaderships meetings, corporate events, slumber parties, anniversary celebrations, memorial services, extended stays and more!brExceptional detail can be found in every room, with 13 1/2 ft. ceilings the three grand parlors and a library on the main floor all have original marble fireplaces that have been updated to gas. Also included on the main floor is a large marble foyer, a half bathroom and a kitchen with an exquisite tin ceiling and that is equipped with a large refrigerator, new convection oven/microwave, sinks, a butler's pantry with service ware and cooking appliances. Aside from the lounge the first floor is very open, and we provide many options for tables and chairs that can be set up as needed for your stay, from a family stay to a party of 140. If the system freezes due to the temperature being set too low for extended periods of time, it will become the guest’s responsibility to pay the repair fee which is around $400 per repair.brbrTRASHbrTrash day is every week on Tuesday. Recycling pickup is every other week on Tuesday. Our team moves the bins to the front road every week for pickup so you do not have to. The bins are located on the side of the building for convenience of moving them to the front road weekly.brbrIf your trash becomes full, bagged trash can be disposed of in trash cans and recycling can be placed in the blue recycling bins found outside behind the garage. Do not leave excess trash on the street as the city trucks will not pick up overflowing trash or any trash that has been put in recycling bins.
