You can tell the owners care for the house and want you to have a comfortable experience. It was clean and comfortable. Always felt safe in the neighborhood. Conveniently located. The light switch for the back bedroom is in the hall. It took us a while to find that one. The bathroom could use a remodel but overall the house was perfect for our weekend needs.

Our stay was great! The owners were very friendly and helpful. The house is beautiful and inviting. It is in a great location for things to do. We would definitely stay here again!

It reminded me of the I grew up in! Comfortable beds and thoughtful touches throughout. I would definitely stay here again. The location was very convenient, and the hosts were great!

Parking in front of the house felt cramped and unsafe, the street is not wide enough for street parking and cars fly up and down the street. Parking around back was unclear and required walking through the side yard up and down a hill difficult for my smaller children. Water pressure and temperature in the shower was nonexistent, and the shower curtain didn’t fully encircle the tub. The house very clearly has rodents. You can hear them running in the walls at night. Would have left if we weren’t told we would receive no refund for our stay. Would not recommend this space.

Older house showing its age outside, but neat and clean inside. Lots of charm and character. Plenty of electrical outlets for chargers. Great shower in the tub.

Renwick Mansion! Unbelievable! This is the Guest house though. Centrally located in Davenport and next to the Village of East Davenport. This is the perfect place to put guest for your wedding for your unbelievable weekend at the mansion. Upsides and downsides, all the rooms are up a very steep and narrow staircase. I went with my handicapped father who had trouble with the stairs. Only one bathroom, upstairs. Not a normal walk-in shower but a claw foot iron tub that is a struggle to get in and out of. All the beds were very comfortable and we all sleep great. The owners are incredible, very personable and friendly!

There were plenty of beds for larger groups. This is a very old home, meaning the floors are very sloped and uneven. There are also many cosmetic issues/concerns; including crumbling plaster, water damage on ceilings. Overall good for the price, but pictures can be a bit misleading.

Hosts were very accommodating. House was as described.

Parking a bit quirky, but other than that was a great stay in the QC

Beds were clean and comfy. Nice kitchen. Spacious. The tub/shower…nozzle sprayed across the floor to the door and overall tub & shower really need updated. Hard for me to get in & out with slipping. Very close to the Renwick. We could not enjoy the front porch due to too dirty & too many spider webs. . One bedroom had big stink bugs and guests had to switch rooms.

Used for the wedding at the nearby mansion.

Very nice property. The hosts are very attentive. The price was great and the property is very clean with a great central location. Would highly reccomend. We stayed for a wedding and 5 adults. Plenty of room with 2 sitting rooms. Overall, it was great.

Great value, clean and comfortable.

Stayed a couple nights to attend a family reunion and it worked out great. Pleasantly surprised at amenities; retro video games, projected TV screen, and well-stocked kitchen. Only drawback was a single restroom that was upstairs. Worked out ok for us but would be hard for someone with limited mobility. Was also quite warm until we discovered heat was on. There were ceiling fans and a couple portable fans as well.

Perfect for visiting family for a few days in Davenport.

Stay was nice

Loved the quirkiness of the property! We were concerned about the stairs but it worked out fine! Beds were comfy! Got a little cold but the extra blankets helped. Loved the closeness to the riverfront! Enjoyed our visit!

Roomy good location, comfortable beds

I stayed at the guest house for 2 days. It is very cozy with a nice projector screen living room. The host was incredibly responsive. I look forward to staying here when I'm in town again.

Stayed here as we had family getting married in the mansion. It was VERY convenient.

Quiet and quirky house. We stayed for a family trip. Coffee was close by (we walked down). The house was really clean (a bit perfume-y). And it worked well for us. We didn't have any issues.

We had a church group attending a conference in the area. Most of us were up at the Renwick, but the guest house was a great inexpensive option for three extra bedrooms. The house is quaint and well kept.

I was very impressed with the communication of the host. He was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. Only downfall with this stay would be parking out front, but he gave us a heads up about a wedding and we had plenty places to park out back. Great house!

The location and accommodations were perfect for being in town for college homecoming festivities. Davenport has evolved over the years and now has so many cool bars and restaurants. The house has plenty of space to sleep, hang out and relax. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Our hosts were excellent communicators and available, if needed. We would definitely stay again.

Having never used Vrbo before, we were unsure what to expect. Dane was an amazing communicator and even showed us around the mansion on the property!

There was plenty of space and the house is incredibly maintained! The owners are very helpful and took great care of our family! We would give it 10 stars if that was an option!
