Upstairs are two private bedrooms each with their own cozy queen bed and spectacular views. There are also three semi-private queen beds in the open loft area with its own flat screen tv and access to a private deck overlooking the property. There are three bathrooms upstairs, one full bath with access in the common area, and the other half baths are in the two private queen bedrooms. The basement hosts a large bedroom with two individual queen beds and access to outside through an its very own door. Enjoy a game of pool on the basement pool table while you soak in the scenery of the lake, just outside the large windows. The large master bedroom is located on the main level of the cabin with a large comfortable king-sized bed. Down the hall is a large full-size bathroom with two sinks for your convenience. The expansive kitchen on the main level is big enough for the entire group and has everything you might need to be your own chef. The large island and kitchen table provide plenty of seating to enjoy a home cooked meal or to simply gather. You can’t beat the panoramic views out the back deck. Summer Pines has two acres of undisturbed lake front sights that can be absorbed from the large back deck just out from the dining area and kitchen. If outdoor cooking is your specialty, fire up the grill or gather around the outdoor fire pit for some s'mores or a classic hotdog. Spend the evenings by soaking in this cabin’s hot tub overlooking the lake. This cabin sits on a secluded lot surrounded by lofty lodge pole pines that rest below Sawtelle Peak, part of the Centennial Mountain Range. It isn’t uncommon to catch sightings of moose, elk, fox and hear the chatter of coyotes in the early morning or evening due to its proximity to open meadows and of course a major source of water. Explore your surroundings on the many ATV trails the area provides, with access to these trails residing just up the road from the cabin. Walk or bike down the quiet forested road of Bootjack Drive or simply enjoy the property as part of your mountain retreat to the Greater Yellowstone Region. Visiting Island Park was an annual summer activity in our family growing up and we are happy to have the opportunity to share our love of this beautiful country with others. Our cabin is amid the most enjoyable parts of Island Park: feeding the fish at Big Springs and the friendly hike to Johnny Sack's Cabin; floating the Henry's Fork (Big Springs) down to Mack's Inn; drives up to Sawtell Peak to view the surrounding area, playing by the reservoir, 4-wheel riding the trails; fishing on Henry's Lake; and close proximity to West Yellowstone (25 miles), Quake Lake (38 miles), Virginia City (82 miles), Mesa Falls (27 miles). The possibilities are endless!brbrWhen you drive up to our cabin, it's set back from the road and is nestled in the pine trees. You will first notice the covered front porch that lets you enjoy the peaceful beauty of the area. We have a campfire, swings, and picnic table that can all be viewed from the porch. For those of you that want to grill outside there is a bbq grill (please do not leave unattended). You'll enter into an open floor plan kitchen, dining area, and spacious living room. Your eyes will be immediately drawn to our cozy propane fireplace and unique barn wood lined wall. This cabin sleeps 6 with 2 queen beds and option of 1 queen hide-a-bed or aero-bed queen blow up air mattress that will maintain its air if left plugged in at night.brbrKitchen: The kitchen is equipped with all of the necessary appliances and utensils for you to prepare your meals. We have everything from fridge, oven, microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, casserole dishes, crockpot, toaster, electric griddle, blender, utensils, cups, mugs, cutting boards, knifes, dish towels, heat pads... Our only complaint is that dishes have to be hand washed with provided dish soap. brbrLiving Room: The living room has a love seat with foot rest, recliner, hide-a-bed couch, over stuffed chair and foot rest, family made redwood coffee table, 2 pine end tables, 48 inch smart tv with YouTube TV or login to any of your streaming subscriptions (NO cable or satellite), and entertainment stand with Blu-ray player and bluetooth stereo to play your own tunes through while playing a fun game of cards. Ceiling mounted fan helps circulate the cool air provided by the outside temperature. There is No Air-conditioning!!! brbrFrom the living room into the hallway is where you will find 1 full bathroom, 1 bedroom, and 1 master bedroom with 1/2 bath and laundry.brFull Bathroom: This bathroom contains a large vanity with plenty of room to store your toiletries, an additional stand with storage, and wall mount for easy access to our clean, white, soft, plump towels. A full walk in shower with built in seat was recently added.brbrBedroom: This bedroom is beautifully lined with one pine covered wall that matches the pine headrest, pine night stand, and pine dresser. The queen bed has soft white sheets, one fleece blanket, and comforter to match all temperature levels. Two pillows are provided. This bedroom has two small screen covered windows that help circulate the air when the ceiling fan is going. brbrMaster Bedroom: This bedroom is also beautifully lined with one pine covered wall that matches the pine bed frame, night stands, dresser, and armoire (inside is one queen aero-bed blow-up mattress to use as a alternative to the hide-a-bed. It will maintain its air if left plugged in at night). The queen bed is covered with soft white sheets, fleece blanket, and quilt. Two pillows are provided. There's also two screen lined windows and ceiling fan. There's a large spacious closet, rocking chair, and ironing board with iron. The 1/2 bath is also supplied with the same soft, plush towels. Inside the bathroom partition is the stacking washer and dryer. brbrAdditional Things Provided: Bedding is provided for the queen hide-a-bed or air mattress (sheets, fleece blanket, comforter, 2 pillows).
