Charming Studio Apartment with WiFi, AC in beautiful Diamond Head Beach Park!

Enjoy a peaceful stay at this wonderful studio apartment on the Gold Coast. The space features a queen bed and open floor plan. The bathroom includes bath and shower combo. In the additional living space, there's a comfy sofa bed for extra guests. Fall in love with this area outside of Waikiki yet close to the action. FYI: street parking only. We do not offer private parking. There is free parking amongst the park area and paid parking with business hours applied to the meters that is free overnight.brbrOur Sanctuary by the Sea is a cozy, corner, studio apartment that sits on the edge of the Diamond Head Beach Hotel and Residences building, facing famous Diamond Head State Monument on one side (our side) & the other, against the famous Gold Coast of the Pacific Ocean & Kaluahole Channel. Our unit is on the 6th floor with elevator and stair access and a great view of Kapiolani Park, Diamond Head as mentioned above and overlooks the sweeping landscape of Manoa, Palolo, and Wilhelmina Rise from the lanai. Lots of light and crosswinds make this a happy and breezy space. We also have a great little AC unit that cools the place down quickly if needed. We have somewhat of a bohemian, hindu-ish, asian, relaxed vibe with some special sculptures and pieces. We try to keep it clutter free and minimal so you have space to utilize counter space. We have a full bathtub and shower. The deep bathroom sink doubles as a kitchen sink for more space in the kitchenette, which includes pretty much everything you need to cook small meals (rice cooker, crockpot, dishes, glassware, silverware, electric griddle and burner, blender, toaster, coffee machine, electric kettle, etc.) We have a microwave oven that doubles as a convection oven as well. We also provide bathroom supplies such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper and paper towels. We offer a weather proof container filled with beach toys and gear, in addition to tennis rackets and a small cooler. Beach chairs and a fold up beach cart for easy transport to the beach. We have a mini fridge and a fold-up cart for easy transport of groceries as well in addition to drawer space for pantry items. My favorite spot is on the lanai overlooking DH, the park and our shared monkeypod tree. I also love the couch spot with a mirror reflecting Diamond Head for a cozy spot to curl up with a book or plan out your adventures around the island! PS, our cozy couch pulls out to a full-size bed fitted with new pillows, foam topper and sheets.brbrThis peaceful part of Oahu boasts many attributes including close proximity to the fun-filled area of Waikiki, the quick access to Diamond Head, great surf spots and beach access in less than five minutes. Also located in this sweet little gem of a location is Kapiolani Park, one of the largest and 2nd oldest parks on Oahu. Both the aquarium and the zoo are in walking distance as well. Old Mans and Tongs are just 2 of the great surf breaks. Kaimana Beach is a great family friendly beach in walking distance. Take a quick hike up to the Diamond Head Lighthouse then cruise down to DH Beach Park for a refreshing cool down. Easy drive to shopping in Kahala (don't miss the Shangri-La Museum near that area), walking distance to the luxurious and outdoor mall, the International Marketplace. Maybe a 20 minute drive to our larger mall, the pristine Ala Moana. International graffiti from Hawaii's Pow!Wow! Festival along with cute cafes and boutique shops line the streets in the newly renovated area of artistic Kaka'ako is also an easy 20 minute drive. Famous Dillingham Fountain is literally right across the street from the building and is also a relaxing addition to decompressing on the lanai. Another gem in walking distance is the famous Michel's restaurant on the beach where from time to time you will find our big friends, the Hawaiian Monk Seals, beach themselves for a little rest. The legendary Kaimana Hotel boasts a long history with another ocean-front & fantastic restaurant, the Hau Tree, its namesake sitting as the staple and glorious centerpiece for this open-air experience and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is available to the public. Ala Wai Canal is just past the zoo where you can enjoy a morning walk or run while overlooking the Ala Wai Golf Course, watch the Kamehameha Canoe Club jet down the waterway, and gaze down the streets of Waikiki. Don't get me started on restaurants in these subsets surrounding our little slice of heaven! Too many to name!br

Everything is within walking distance - restaurants, beaches, shopping centers, cafes, the zoo, the aquarium, hotels, bars, clubs, gyms & much more! The space is newly renovated and has a very upscale beach vibe with tasteful design accents, brand new furniture and appliances. There are two balconies as this is a corner unit - which means you have more than 260 degree spectacular view of Waikiki, from the mountains to the ocean!brMy place is great for couples, solo adventurers and business travelers. Up to 5 guests comfortably. We have a queen size bed, a sofa bed that opens to a very comfortable Tempur-pedic queen size bed and a fold up bed that we will bring upon request. brbrGuests have sole access of the studio. Public transportation is plentiful in this area and is available right outside of the building.!brbrA beautiful pool area, exclusively for guests, is always a plus! There are beach towels and chairs for you to use in the studio as well. brbrAll of the appliances are energy saving and brand new. The flat-screen TV is connected to cable so you have hundreds of channels to choose from! The washer/dryer is located in the hallway of each floor and costs about $1.75 per wash/$1.50 per dry.brbrThere is an abundance of restaurants in the area ranging from a wide variety of cuisines to explore open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can take a stroll through the beach walk to the ocean where there are surf lessons, canoe and catamaran rides available. There are farmers markets in King's Village every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - where local farmers and chefs set up tables with tasty goodies. If you enjoy the nightlife, Sky Bar and Rum Fire are a two-minute walking distance away! Waikiki is also known as a shopping paradise with endless options of shops to choose of our guests enjoy this space so much, they don't ever leave Waikiki :)brbrThe International Market Place is a new shopping mall, only one block away from our apartment. There are beautiful stores and great restaurants there too. There is also the Ala Wai Golf Course across the canal and beautiful parks and hiking scattered near by.brbrIf you are planning on staying in the area there are numerous shuttles to and from the airport available. A car is recommended for those who want to explore other parts of the island conveniently, however, there are many bus stops, trolleys, cabs and uber available as well.brbrThe sunsets in Waikiki are absolutely amazing! Each one completely different from the last. In the unit, there is a wonderful A/C system and other electronics that make this studio all the more comfortable! Please help us to conserve energy by turning off all electronics and the A/C upon leaving the unit. A refundable security deposit of $295 is required at the time of booking. An additional deduction will be made to the security deposit for the cost of any unreasonable damage caused by the guests or if the rental will need excessive cleaning, otherwise it will be returned to guests in full. Deductions can be made for the following reasons: to replace/repair any item that is damaged or missing; to replace any keys ($50) or remote controls ($50) that are not returned; and for any excessive cleaning that needs to be done. Please remove sand & shells from bikinis and pockets prior to entering the house and showers, also shake out all beach towels.
