The home is located in beautiful Blue Mountain Beach Florida. Starfish Cottage is located in the upscale Lakeside at Blue Mountain Beach neighborhood right off 30A.brbrThe home has a great open concept floor plan. The large open den and kitchen are perfect for entertaining and family meals. The upstairs master suite opens onto a private porch with beautiful views of the surrounding neighborhood. The main level porch is great for relaxing and entertaining. This house is perfect for 2 families to share and can easily sleep 10 people. The home features two master suites (one upstairs, and one down), both with king size beds. The master baths feature large custom tile showers with rainfall shower heads, and a soaker tub in the upstairs master bath for a spa-like experience. There is an additional spacious bedroom with a queen bed, and a bunk room with 2 twin beds, that is perfect for the kids. A queen size pull out sofa is located in the den to accommodate additional guests. The home also features several pieces of original art by well know artists.brbrAs a new custom home Starfish Cottage features hardwood floors throughout, granite counter tops in the kitchen and baths, travertine floors and showers in the bathrooms, and stainless steel appliances. The den includes a large (51”) LCD smart TV with Direct TV Satellite and each bedroom also has a large LCD TV. High speed Wi-Fi is also included as well as a gas grill for outdoor cooking. A collection of books and games are also provided for guests to use.brbrStarfish Cottage is a short walk (5-6 minutes) to the Blue Mountain Beach Access, or an even shorter bike ride. The Lakeside at Blue Mountain Beach development is located directly behind Red Fish Village and is adjacent to Big Redfish Lake. The beach access has parking available if you prefer to drive, and has public restrooms. The neighborhood pool is right around the corner (less than a 1 minute walk). The pool area includes restrooms as well as lounge chairs, tables, and umbrellas. The house includes adult and kids bikes for your use.(we try to make sure all bikes in working condition but we do not guarantee the condition or number of bikes available at any time) There is a bike path, just across the road from the home, that runs along highway 30A, Point Washington State Park backs up to our neighborhood and is a great place to hike. Starfish Cottage is a short bike ride to historic Grayton Beach, Watercolor, and Seaside Florida. There are several great local restaurants, such as the famous Red Bar, and fun, eclectic shops. If you love ice cream then a visit to Blue Mountain Creamery Ice Cream shop is a must. It is located just 1 block away on 30A. Kayak or paddle board rental is available close by for use on the local dune lakes, or the Gulf of Mexico. Golf cart rental is also available. If you prefer a day out, we are situated approximately 30 minutes between Destin and Panama City Beach. Raised Cottage 'Dune Fine'- Easy Walk to Beach - Dogs Welcome!

DUNE FINE is a delightful, and extremely popular, raised beach cottage in the Dune Allen Beach area of 30A. Many know well why the property has earned its name and reputation in Santa Rosa Beach. If not...here's the skinny: Once you've checked in, and kicked back, rest assured you'll be Doin' Fine as well! brbrThis newly remodeled home is located at the western end of 30A (closer to Destin than Panama City Beach), but still just minutes from any activity or destination you wish to explore. DUNE FINE is a 3/2 home that offers spacious accommodations for up to six but manages to capture a feeling of beachy coziness and casual comfort in its first floor, open plan living/kitchen area. The L/R section of the house blends well into the 'galley kitchen' and allows all parties to watch TV, converse, cook, and perhaps, sometime around sunset, share a 'frozen concoction' that your inevitable blender will be happy to render. Bedrooms and baths are somewhat more generous in size than those of other beach homes and for six people, that's a real plus. A shaded, upstairs balcony is positioned beautifully to take advantage of delicious gulf breezes...Well behaved and monitored children are most welcome. (The garage is not part of the rental). As many of you know there are a variety of beaches on 30A. Some with lifeguards and chair/umbrella setups, some without, and some offering good food just a few strides away. We are within a 10 minute walk to three public beach accesses. We are only a 5-minute walk to South Walton's newest beach access, Dune Allen Regional Beach Access. Stroll down with your things, or if you'd like to take coolers, fishing gear and more, I suggest tossing it all in the car and making the less-than-60-second drive. A few more minutes to the east is the Fort Panic Beach Access. And our little hidden gem is the Stallworth Lake Access, which is a 10 minute walk at the end of South Bishop Road. And we are less than 2 miles from Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. Many beach spots offer restrooms and outside showers (no need to go back home covered in that sugar-white sand). One of our most popular restaurants - Stinky's Fish Camp is a five-minute walk. brbrWe are a dog-friendly home. There is no additional pet fee. Flea free, vaccinated, well-trained dogs (limit 2) are welcome (they'll love being able to romp in the large, fenced backyard). You know your dog. If prone to separation anxiety, we ask that you crate your dog when you are not at the house. Dog size/breed must be pre-approved before booking.
