Join your group in the living room for a movie on the HD television, while warming your toes by the gas fireplace. Gourmet chef's kitchen gives ample space for preparing and entertaining. Dine outside on the main floor veranda or indoors at antique french country table, which adjusts to seat 6-10. The other two bedrooms feature queen sized beds, antique furniture and palm ceiling fans.brbrbrGuests can make use of the main house, the waterfront screened gazebo and summer-kitchen including sink and grill, attached deck, floating dock, fishing equipment. (Licenses can be obtained at the local Walmart.)brbrThe second full bathroom is located on the ground level in the adjacent building. It has a claw foot antique tub for bath or shower. There is also a cold water outdoor shower. Plenty of parking on premises. You may even park your RV and dock your boat.brbrWe are happy to check our guests in and out if available. Otherwise, you will remain undisturbed during your stay and the place is yours to enjoy!brbrOur favorite things to do here are sit on the dock and fish. We enjoy the reflections of the trees on the river and love to watch a flock of egrets or ibis or a pair of Kingfishers or a single great blue heron coast inches above the glassy water. The opportunity for birding here is great, and for wildlife viewing of all kinds. If you like we have a tandem kayak for you to enjoy and canoe rentals are not far away.

This is a beautiful home that we love to getaway to. It's on 11 acres of land right on the Suwannee river. with gorgeous views of the river bend. We hope you Love our home just as much as we do. less than one mile from public boat launch and a park where you can have a bbq and picnic while kids play. The home is self check in and keyless entry. We have a pack and play/portable crib combo that has a bassinet/ changing tablebrkeep in mind we dont live close and this is a woodsy area.brWe love this home. It is so unique it's like going back in time when cooking in the kitchen.brLooking out the window to watch the fish jump in the river and the boats going by is one of our favorite things to do.brThis is our favorite getaway!brHoliday booking may be charged an extra fee.brbrHouse rules brbrNo one is allowed in the home or on the property except for the guests that were booked for the stay. Any additional guest will be fined $10 a nightbrbrbr**NO FIREWORKS**brbrbrGuests are only permitted on our property and public property. our property line to the neighbors (brown house on stilts) is the telephone pole. We have around 11 acres that's yours to explore.brbrbrDo not leave behind any trash. guests must take trash with them. The cleaning staff will charge an additional fee of $30+ for having to haul away trash.brbrbrWash dry and put away all dishes before check out. pots, pans, knives and melamine cups must be washed by hand. when using the dishwasher do not check out until dishes are out of the washer and put away.  the cleaning staff charger $30+ to do dishesbrWe provide plenty of throw away plates, bowls, cups and plastic wear.brbrbrThe fireplace is NOT for guest use.  We have an outdoor fire pit on property that guests may use. never leave a fire unattended and always have the hose near by.brbrbrMake sure that the door is locked before leaving. After locking, try opening it to ensure it's locked. make sure to shut and lock the gate. There is Dixie County solid waste disposal  about 3. Miles south of  Trading Post Citgo gas station. brbrbrno more than 2-4 people on the dock at a time.brbrbrbrNO SMOKING of any kindbrbrbrDo Not Open Any Windows.brbrbrDo not move any furniture.brbrbrbrDO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING OTHER THAN TOILET PAPER DOWN THE TOILET. If a backup happens after your stay and something other than toilet tissue is found to be the backup you will be charged to cover feesbrbrbrbralways shut all fans and lights off, close all blinds and ensure the door and gate are locked when leaving the property. brbrbrGuests are not permitted to tear up the grass if it is found that the grass is torn up from any type of vehicle. The cost to replace the grass will be charged to the guest. Plenty of parking on the concrete slab do not park on the grass.brbrbrGuests will be charged to cover cost of any damage caused during their stay brbrKeep in mind we are very understanding people, we have enjoyed sharing our vacation home with guests from all over. These rules were only made up because of problems with guests in the past.
