Located in a quiet cul-de-sac off the Santa Rosa Sound and just minutes from the Navarre Pier. Keep an eye out there is so much to see, sea turtles and dolphins and maybe even a bear. We are 30 minutes to Pensacola and only 45 minutes to Destin and 60 minutes from Gulf Shores AL. Our Sound Retreat neighborhood also has a private Santa Rosa Sound beach access area where you can fish, Kayak or swim. This is not just any vacation home; it is our forever home.brThe Housebr1. Foyer/Entry: We hope as you open the door you feel invited into our home. It's a large space that gives you plenty of room to bring in and stage your bags upon arrival. Our favorite part of the house is the white wainscoting and bright vibrant wall colors.br2. Kitchen: You can enjoy cooking your own meals while staying here. We have all of the tools needed - an oven/cooktop with baking sheets, cookware, utensils, dishes, drinkware, etc, are all made available for you. We also have a microwave, toaster oven, garbage disposal, and dishwasher. The refrigerator has a filtered water and ice dispenser and the kitchen island provides additional seating. There is a Walmart Neighborhood Market not to far from us so you can easily get all of your groceries.br3. Coffee Bar: Located in the kitchen on its own little cabinet. Our coffee bar features a Keurig system with various k-cup flavors and options. Don’t forget to check the drawer in the cabinet if you can’t find your favorite K-Cup in the tray on top. If you prefer tea we have an assortment available as well. Mugs included too!br4. Dining Room: Perfectly situated adjacent to the kitchen and living room. Bust out the fine china, aka ceramic plates, for a fabulous dinner! You can even use the glass glasses and skip the plastic if you’re feeling daring and adventurous.br5. Living Room: Sit back and relax in our large living room that has a large comfy couch that you’ll be napping on in no time. Enjoy the large HD TV with the usual built in smart TV features so you can connect to your favorite streaming services. High 10 ft ceilings make this house feel roomy and spacious. Don’t forget to put in a pin in our map on the wall of where you live. We love to see where all our guests come from.br6. The Master Bedroom: This large bedroom features a king bed with a memory foam mattress (our favorite as well as guests who have raved about it!), a chaise lounge and dressers. The side tables each have lamps with USB charging capability and there's a private door to a screened porch. The attached private bathroom has an oversize jetted tub (perfect for relaxing/soaking), separate shower, toilet, dual sinks and plenty of lighting with a walk-in closet to hang all our cloths.br7. The Airplane Room: The airplane room has a queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The furniture in this room is aluminum built and mimics the look and feel of aircraft construction. A cozy chair is perfect to enjoy some coffee and a good book. A walk-in closet and ample shelving and luggage racks gives you a place to store clothes and necessities during your stay. If you need a pack n play, stroller and/or child seat they can be found in the closet.br8. The Shutter Room: The shutter room has a queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The side tables each have built in power outlets making charging your phone overnight easy peasy. A closet and ample shelving and luggage racks gives you a place to store clothes and necessities during your stay.br9. The Bunk Room: The bunk room has a full and twin bed with a memory foam mattresses. A Roku TV in guest mode is ready to watch for all kids streaming needs. There is a game system with hundreds of classic games to play. Controllers are in the built in desk drawer.br10. Guest Bathroom: Bathroom: Toilet, sink, and shower/tub. Watch out for the turtle while you're bathing, she likes the water.brThe Outdoorsbr1. Screened in porch: This is the place to relax and chill while enjoying the outdoors without the real outdoors eating you silly. A Roku TV in guest mode makes it easy for you to sign into any of your favorite streaming apps. Be Savvy and Drink Rum and Margaritas is the motto in this room and from here, you can access the backyard paradise.br2. 2. The POOL: Take a dip and enjoy the pool on a hot summer day! No diving, please! It's not a heated pool for those traveling in the winter. Please be mindful of the Robot Ricky. He helps keep the pool clean every day but easily gets his feelings hurt if you step on him. We have the pool cleaned every week on Fridays, but leaves/debris/bugs do get in the pool. There is a skimmer net in the backyard for your use to clean out any debris/leaves/bugs that inevitably get into the pool between cleanings. Please note the spa is not heated.br3. We do have a spigot with hose so if you have scuba gear that needs rinsing off, beach equipment, or those sandy feet feel free to use it. But please remember to turn off the water. :)br4. There is a charcoal grill available for use. A metal can nearby is a great place to put the ashes from use.br5. This is Florida. On our property, you'll see bugs, birds, frogs, lizards, and dragonflies. There are also mosquitoes. Our property backs up to a forested preservation area and some bears enjoy this area and call it home. You might be lucky enough to see them, just know they are more afraid of you than you are of them. You'll see twigs and leaves around on the deck/patio, especially after rains/storms. Welcome to the jungle.br6. Our lawn is cared for by various people. Monthly it is sprayed for weeds and bugs. We will notify you if it happens to be scheduled during your stay. Every Thursday our lawn service people will cut, trim and clean the lawn. We would love to defer these chores while we host but we apologize we can't.

It has incredible views from the 30 windows and 6 porch/deck areas. We are only 600' from the public beach access. Please note that none of the amenities in the home are guaranteed due to the coastal environment and damage from previous renters. We do our best to keep everything in tip top shape, but sometimes things happen that are beyond our control.brbr4 bedrooms, each with a private full bath. 3 one the 2nd floor and one on the 3rd floor. The kids room has triple bunk beds, sleeping 6. There are also 2 queen bed bedrooms and 1 king. The entire 3rd floor is handicapped friendly, (not ADA compliant). The elevator accesses the 1st (ground) 2nd and 3rd floors.brbrThe ground (1st) floor is the parking area and barbecue patio. There are 2 covered parking spaces under the home, plus room for 4-6 more vehicles in the driveway. This is not in an HOA, so campers, boats and trailers are welcome. You can fit a golf cart perfectly under the entry stairs, should you choose to rent an extra one. There is a covered patio with a charcoal barbecue off the back. The elevator is on this level as well. brbrOn the second floor are 3 of the bedrooms. A king master bedroom with a private deck (Perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or tea while watching the sunrise), a queen front bedroom with views of the Gulf, and a bunk bed room that sleeps 6. The master bath has a custom built walk in shower with massage panel & large soaking tub. The game room is also on this floor, with TV, multi game table (Foosball, Air Hockey, Ping Pong, etc.). Wii video game console with Rock Band and an Asteroids video machine for kids of all ages. The sundeck and hot tub is off the back of the game room. brbrOn the third floor you will find another master bedroom with a queen bed. Wheelchair accessible doorways and floorplan are on this level. Perfect for anyone with limited mobility. However we are not fully ADA accessible, just handicapped friendly. You can not roll a wheel chair into the shower. But we have handrails and a seat for the shower and hand rails in the toilet area in the bathroom. The third floor also contains the main living area. A well equipped kitchen, living room with big screen TV and dining area that seats the whole family. Both the second and third floors have large front porches perfect for enjoying the gulf views and sounds of the surf. Off the back is a screened in bar area with stairs up to the roof deck.brbrOur fourth level is the 450 Sq ft. roof deck. (It is not accessible by the elevator). 360° views of Navarre Beach from here. It is the perfect place to sit and watch the sunset, sunrise and the stars at night. If you are lucky enough to get a rental during New Year's or 4th of July, you'll see the fireworks throughout Navarre from here. brbrThis is custom designed and built home. Floor to ceiling cabinets, Quartz counters, high end appliances, custom walk in tile showers with seats and massage panels, 12' ceilings, custom built outdoor bar and a beachy décor.brbrPublic beach access is just 600 feet away. The home includes beach toys, towels, umbrellas, chairs and a beach cart to tote it all in. brbrWe are pet friendly. There is a large dog crate and 2 baby gates are provided for your use. brbrAn adult of 25 years or older is required to book and be present during your entire stay. (Sorry college students). As we have resident neighbors we do not allow parties at this home, but can assist you with great local rentals venues on and around the island should you be looking for such. brbrWe require a $500 cash deposit as well as the $99 VRBO/Home Away Damage protection insurance policy. This is because we have discovered that the insurance will not cover damages unless the renters admits to it. This is our dream home and we want you to treat it as such. We purchased this townhouse in 2023 and have put a lot of love and care into updates and upgrades including painting, flooring, brand new furnishings, decor, kitchen supplies, appliances, and more! Our goal has been to create a chic yet warm and inviting beach experience for our guests with thoughtful touches such as USB charging on every nightstand, an 85 TV in the living room for awesome movie nights or enjoying your favorite sports team, smart TV's in each bedroom room, and supplying beach items such as beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and children's sand toys. We have also just begun providing 2 BOTE stand up paddleboards (SUPs) available for guests use after signing a separate use agreement.
