Moon Bay is the secret gem of the Keys! It's never crowded, maintained beautifully, and offers breathtaking views with the best sunsets in the world! Relax in the heated pool or lay out on the beach. We love to walk out to the end of the boat docks, sit under the tiki hut, and watch the marine life, or fish for snapper. Boat rentals are available nearby, and if you're a boater you'll be in heaven navigating the waters around the keys! You'll be a stone's throw away from John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, which offers beaches, snorkeling, fishing excursions and more! Roughly five miles offshore is the world famous Christ of the Abyss, which is a statue of Christ under the crystal clear water about 15 feet down inside a coral reef! Travel further down highway 1 and experience the other Keys attractions, with unlimited dining choices. The Lazy Lobster and Snooks are highly recommended! We recommend you take a day to travel down to Key West. It's about a 2.5 hour drive from the condo, but SO worth it! Just the drive there is unexplainable, with blue ocean on either side of you for the majority of it. There are plenty of places to see and stop on the way, from awesome shopping to wildlife parks, a turtle hospital, the list is endless. Once you arrive in Key West be sure and take a walk down famous Duval Street.brWhen you experience vacationing in the Keys, you'll want to come back. Our condo is remodeled and furnished to high standards, with tile and stone floors and showers, granite countertops, kitchen aid appliances, power blinds, high speed Wi-Fi, and full-size washer and dryer. With each bedroom having its own full bathroom, making getting ready alot easier for families. Our condo is only 1 of 3 with 2 full bathrooms plus a half bath!! The master bedroom has a luxurious and comfortable king bed and a large bay window giving you a vast view of the canal to invigorate you to start your day. The guest bedroom has a canal view and offers two (2) high end Serta queen mattresses. There is a sliding door off the guest bedroom which leads you directly on to the porch. brThe comfortable porch allows you to dine outside at the table or you can sit in the two chairs complete with ottomans to prop your feet up and drink your coffee while reading the morning newspaper. brbrOur home is fully furnished with linens, dishes, cookware, a wine refrigerator and we provide other sundries like coffee, sugar, Splenda, PAM, olive oil, baggies, Reynolds wrap, salt and pepper, shampoo, body wash, conditioner so there is no need to hurry up and run to Wynn's when you get here! Welcome to your own tropical paradise located in Moon Bay, a gated community on Blackwater Sound in Key Largo! Our condo is recently renovated and newly decorated with a tropical feel. The condo has a 7 night minimum stay. The condo has a great floor plan with screened-in porch with views of the pool. Double sliding glass doors open to create an indoor/outdoor living space. Help yourself to our coffee bar and enjoy a cup outside!brbrOur 2-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom condo sleeps 6 comfortably and is professionally cleaned after every rental. There is a king bed in the master bedroom and a double bed in the second bedroom. The family room has a sectional with a full-size pull-out bed that sleeps two. In the bedroom closet you will find tennis rackets, beach chairs, a cooler, fishing poles, and crab traps. All furniture, linens, bedding, light fixtures, and rugs are new. New windows were recently installed throughout the condo. Enjoy reading or checking your email in our newly added home office! The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, accessories, and kitchenware. There are three televisions in the unit. You also have full access to our convenient washer and dryer and high-speed Wi-Fi. There is condo parking reserved for our unit right outside the building. brbrOur Condo is surrounded by beautiful property, with lush tropic landscaping! Relax by the toddler and adult pools, catch some rays on the sundeck, or nap in the hammocks. You can sit on the dock and watch the breathtaking Key Largo sunsets, lay on the condo’s beach, and BBQ on the outdoor charcoal grills. Moon bay is the perfect place to spend your entire vacation outdoors! There is a beautiful clubhouse by the pool area. Amenities include a full kitchen, bathroom, sauna, games, ample seating, and T.V. The dock provides an area for fishing and crabbing. There are two kayaks available for use free of charge for those who stay at our condo. Our private boat slip is available upon request for an additional fee. In front of the property, you will find tennis courts, half basketball court, and shuffleboards along with a grill and outdoor seating. brbrThere are many restaurants nearby and delicious fresh seafood in the Keys! Some of our favorites include The Fish House, Gilbert’s, and The Lazy Lobster. Key Largo also has many souvenir shops including Largo Cargo and Shell World (our favorite). There are two supermarkets in the area for anything you may need (Publix and Winn Dixie). There are outlets located 30 minutes north and larger shopping malls are within an hour’s drive. Don’t forget to visit the other keys while you are in the area, especially Key West (a 2-hour drive). Most importantly, you must try the Key Lime Pie while you are here!brbrEnjoy fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, tennis, or basketball on the property or bike riding, scuba diving, and participate in other water activities in the area.brbrMoon Bay is a convenient commute to Miami or the Lower Keys.
