Owners transferred from a property management company to self-managing in July of 2020 and are excited to host you! brbrVitamin Sea is a spacious 3 BR / 2.5 bath Bahamas unit in the popular community of Prominence in Watersound, Florida. The spacious kitchen overlooks the living and dining area, and is equipped with a gas cooktop, an oversized fridge, and stainless steel appliances. The open living and dining areas have 10' ceilings and plenty of windows, offering lovely views while relaxing on the custom-made furnishings. The entire home has sun-blocking plantation shutters, plus darkening panels in the master suite. All three bedrooms are upstairs. The master suite offers a king bed and an en suite bath with dual vanities, a large shower, luxury tile, and upgraded fixtures. The second bedroom has a King bed, and the third bedroom is outfitted with custom bunk beds (Full, Twin, Twin, Twin). The State Park Beach is less crowded than any public beach access points.brbrbrbr- Walton Dunes Beach Access (1.5 miles West of Prominence) has a small parking lot, but no bathrooms, and is located just west of the Deer Lake State Park boundary. This access has no steps-just walk straight onto the beach. One of our personal favorites!brbrbrbr-Gulf Lakes Estates is a South Walton County beach access (1 mile east of Prominence). Small access that can be easily missed. Parking not available but easy bike ride to the beach.brbrbrbr-Santa Clara is a public beach access located at Bramble Grove Place (about 3.5 miles). This access provides a lifeguard, parking and bathrooms as well as ADA access to the beach.brbrbrbrTHE BIG CHILL (FORMERLY THE HUB)brbrThe community’s town center, called “The Big Chill,” includes restaurants, shops, and an amphitheater. The amphitheater includes a covered event pavilion and is a great place to catch a concert, sporting event, or a movie on the lawn. This location is perfect for family outings! Be sure to catch the farmer's market here on Thursdays!brbrbrbrHOTSPOTS NEARBYbrbrThe location of Prominence is perfectly placed right in the middle of 30a. The Grouper Reef is at a depth of 12-21 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. It is under a 5-minute bike ride West on 30A from Prominence. This beach access has 50 parking spots available along with bathrooms and dining pavilions equipped with charcoal grills. The boardwalk here is lengthy (about a quarter mile), There is a $3 entry fee per vehicle that can be paid with cash on site or can also be reserved in advance. brbr~Gulf Lakes Beach Access: Best for bike rides to the beach and is a 7 minute ride East on the pedestrian path on the South side of 30A. There are newly placed No Parking signs on the South shoulder that prohibit parking golf carts on the South shoulder directly next to the Gulf Lakes Access and Pelican Circle community all the way to Camp Creek Lake. brbr~ Seabreeze Beach Access: Right past Gulf Lakes Access and is another option with available North side 30A shoulder parking slightly closer to its entry. You can park and use the nearby crosswalk to crossover 30A directly to the access entry. brbr~ Walton Dunes Beach Access: 10 min. bike ride West on 30A from Prominence. There is no fee for this access. This access is tucked in a residential area off 30A but has a public parking lot about 100 yards from the access entry. Walton Dunes is an easier entry as it has no boardwalk or steps, and you can walk from the road directly onto the beach. This is a good option for dropping off passengers and gear then parking in the nearby lot. The parking lot is limited, so getting here early is suggested. There are plenty of bicycle racks at the access should you decide to ride a bike.brbr- Inlet Beach Regional Access: 15-minute car ride but is a great option with ample parking, on-duty Lifeguards, and restrooms. You cannot take the golf cart to the Inlet Beach Access due to the distance from the house and because carts are restricted in Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, and along Highway 98.brbrManaged by Diving Pelican Realty and Rentals. We require an additional rental agreement to be signed at booking to ensure age requirements (25 and up to book) are met. Thank you for understanding!brbrbrRecreational vehicles, campers, boats, and trailers cannot be parked in Prominence, unless completely contained within a garage. If you need space for those, it’s recommended that a spot be reserved in advance at a local storage facility.
