Welcome! This house was built in 1920 and has been beautifully restored. It's three blocks from the center of downtown Deland! Walk or take a quick bike ride to restaurants and shops. It is a large two story house (2,400sq. ft)! Ping pong, air hockey, cornhole, checkers/chess table, 4 bikes included, huge front porch for people watching, grill, basketball hoop, large natural gas fire pit, and soooo much more! The bunk room upstairs has its own Livingroom and foosball coffee table! Nothing compares!!brbrThe spacebrOur house has all original hardwood floors throughout. This makes it easy to sanitize and clean. We also made sure to purchase Ruggible brand rugs because they can be machine washed and sanitized as well. All beds have a Tommy Bahama bed protector with 100% Anti-Microbial Silver Infused Hypoallergenic Polyester Fill. The main bedroom has a king size Sleep Number bed with dual side adjustments. Feel free to make the mattress as firm or as soft as you'd like. We believe that this house will be like your family's home away from home, with special attention to providing a premium place to stay in Deland. We teamed up with a local soap maker to provide our guests with custom made organic goat milk soap. A bar will be placed in the master bathroom upstairs and we encourage everyone to take it home! There are sound machine alarm clocks in every room with usb charging ports. Games, books, and a large dvd selection is ready and waiting! In one of the rooms upstairs we placed a Total Gym for anyone wanting to keep up with their daily or weekly workout. For the fun side of things there is an awesome Margaritaville drink maker in the kitchen as well as an icemaker that produces 100lbs of ice daily. Our house sits on a half acre with plenty of yard and space for kids to enjoy.brbrAs just another little bonus….. the China cabinets in the dinning room are stocked with tons of local Deland items purchased from shops around town. In case you forgot a souvenir, something for your stay, or gift for someone we have you covered! All you have to do is send a message about wanting something and we will unlock the cabinet for you. There is zero mark up. You pay what it cost at the store. It’s all about supporting local business owners and friends.brbrIMPORTANT DETAILS!!!!!brbrOur nightly rate is based on a total of 8 guests. We can accommodate two additional guests for a $20 per person, per night fee. Which means a max of 10 guests. Anyone booking who disrespects this will be asked to leave immediately without any refund. brbrThere is a ton of paved parking in the front of the house. The FRONT of the house has 2-4 parking spaces that are for this rental. Do not block the driveway to the back of the house or park behind the house. Overflow parking, and additional vehicles can be arranged with advanced notice and approval. There will be no issue with any type of vehicle you may bring…….you just have to communicate about it first. brbrBOOKING MEANS YOU HAVE READ ALL THE DETAILS AND ACCEPT THEM. brbr****Rules regarding service dogs are firm and booking with us is your acceptance of our requirements, regardless if you did not do your due diligence in reading all the details before booking. We are a pet free rental due to family members with SEVERE allergies. “If” a non service dog is brought onto the property that will be an immediate cancelation of the booking, with an additional $300 fee pulled from the security deposit. brbrService animals need to be disclosed when the booking is created, and an exsplanation of what service they provide. Welcome to Longleaf Plantation! This quiet country setting is the perfect place to relax after a long day. With almost 2,000 sq ft of living space, two living rooms, a screened in patio and plenty of space between you and the neighbors it's a great place to call home! The entire home is full of windows which makes it feel airy and bright at all times of the day. The two secondary bedrooms are a split plan from the primary bedroom on the opposite end of the home. All beds are queen sized and have extra linens. The two bathrooms are bright and clean with showers in each one and dual vanities in the primary bedroom. The living spaces are large and bright with plenty of windows and two large comfortable sofas. The main living room has a non-working fireplace, a smart TV and a desk area with a printer. The screened in patio has plenty of space with two tables and chairs. There is also a propane grill in the garage tenants are welcome to use! The ranch is a beautiful, 3 story, 3 bedroom , 2 bath home in the middle of 80beautiful acres. Located on a large lake connecting to the St. John's River with total seclusion and privacy. This is a one of a kind vacation with all the comforts and still within 35 minutes of Daytona and New Smyrna Beaches and one hour from Orlando. Other attractions are Two Springs (20 minute drive), great restaurants, golf, snorkeling, boat rentals, fishing , scuba diving, hiking and great fishing and boating. all located near historic Deland. We also have added wireless high speed internet and a new 55 inch Sony High Definition TV with in one living room for evening entertainment. There is also a newer 40 inch flat screen tv in the main living area. We also have a screened in pool with hot tub the hot tub is only used fro October till the first of April and drained after that. The ranch also has a small dock . There is a boat launch ramp close by to use if you bring a boat. . There are springs just 4 miles down the river to visit by boat where you can picnic swim or snorkel. By boat there are miles of beautiful river and tributaries to explore or relax on the deck. If you are looking for a 5 star designer home with granite countertops, and a sub zero refrigerator then this may not be where you want to come. We don’t want groups to come and then give us a review saying that our home needs to be upgraded. It is basically clean and comfortable but does not have updated modern furniture, appliances etc. the appliances are fairly new but basic. So please do not book a stay at our ranch and go to Disney instead if you are picky and looking for a modern upgraded home. We do however have over 90 % 5 star reviews but these come from groups who more appreciate the property which is 80 acres with 1,100 feet on the water with no other property that compares for a country private setting. We have many return groups.brAlso the pool is screened however this is not a resort where there is a pool boy to skim the pool every morning for pollen, dust and a bug or two that make their way into the pool from dew etc every night. So we provide a skimmer for your use if you choose to remove these items from the surface on a daily basis. We don’t want you giving us a review saying the pool could be cleaner as we said overnight in the country things, pollen etc get into the pool which you can simply spend 10 minutes skimming out. We do have a pool service which keeps the water sanitized . We do not allow guns of any kind including no BB or pellet guns, and no off road vehicles of anykind allowed. We also have a max of two children allowed . I do come to the property midday as there is always work to do on the over 70 acres but will not be close to the house to give you your privacy. I am there about two hours a day . Also we do not cater to parties or groups that are heavy drinkers or who have anyone in their group that is. We are looking for responsible groups while drinking is fine if you or anyone in tour group is not a responsible drinker please do not ask for a reservation. We also have a fourth bedroom with king bed down stairs with full bath that is optional at $65 per night additional. If you want to invite or plan to invite others over during your stay, friends relative’s etc for any reason please give those details in your original request . Most people when they arrive are excited to see such a large property and privacy that no other rentals have. It is truly a unique experience. All linens are freshly washed after each guest leaves. We do not allow pets.
