In lieu of a security deposit, at the time of the booking, guest shall be required to purchase rental coverage for the duration of their stay. The guest is held financially responsible for damages to the Rental Property, whether made by themselves, their family, and another guest in their group or invitee.brPOSSESSION. Guest shall be entitled to possession on the first day of the term of the booking at 3pm (condos) 4pm (houses), and shall yield possession to Manager on the last day of the term of this Booking at 10am, unless otherwise agreed by both parties in writing and early check-in or late check-out fee paid. At the expiration of the booking, guest shall remove its goods and effects and peaceably yield up the Premises to manager in as good a condition as when delivered to guest.brMINIMUM STAY. The guest will be required to pay for the booked dates. Guests wishing to extend their stay may do so by contacting the Manager and paying additional fees if the unit is available for extension and the guest has abided by all rules.brUSE OF PREMISES/ABSENCES. Guest shall occupy and use the Premises as a dwelling unit. Guest shall notify Manager of any anticipated extended absence from the Premises not later than the first day of the extended absence. Guest will maintain the premises in good order and appearance including keeping the premises free of trash and garbage. Reasonable wear and tear are the only exceptions to damage to the premises. Booking guest agrees to be the primary occupant of the dwelling during the entire period of the rental.brGuest may not use the premise for commercial or event purposes. No commercial photography or filming is allowed on the property. Guests booking units that may allow small weddings or similar must notify Manager upon booking, pay additional fees and disclose all requested information to Manager. In the event a guest hosts an agreed up event but does not give accurate information as to the time of the event, number of guests or type of event, booking will be cancelled and guests immediately evicted. Any agreed upon event must be paid no less than 7 days prior to event. Manager has the right to deny any event request for any reason.brGuests may not hang towels over outdoor railings, erect tents or banners or do anything else to make property look less appealing to neighbors. Guest agrees to lock all doors and windows when they are not at the property.brDue to the COVID-19 pandemic, Guest agrees to adhere to all guidance from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on COVID-19 and any local and state regulations. Local and state regulations can be found on the local public health department website.brOCCUPANTS. No more than the number of person(s) entered in the booking may occupy the Premises at any one time unless the prior written consent of the Manager is obtained. All guests over the age of 2 are counted towards the maximum. Any party falsely representing the number of people, or exceeding the maximum may be subject to immediate eviction without refund. All guests over the age of 15 will be required to provide a copy of a government issued ID.brFor properties that allow pets, pets are only allowed if approved by Manager. All pets must be disclosed to Manager within 24 hours of booking, or if booking is less than 24 hours from booking time then at the time of booking. Guest must pay any required pet fees no less than 7 days prior to reservation start. For bookings made within a week of reservation, fee must be paid same day as the reservation is made.br Guests must be 25 to book (or the specified minimum age to book as noted on the booking site). Guests under the minimum age must be accompanied by a legal guardian or parent. Guests over 25 may not book a property for the use of a group under the age of 25 (ex: a mom or aunt cannot book a unit for a group of high schoolers where the parent or legal guardian will not be present).brFURNISHINGS. The unit is completely furnished and stocked. Guest shall return all such items at the end of the stay in a condition as good as existed at the beginning of the booking, normal wear and tear excepted.brPROPERTY INSURANCE. Manager and Guest shall each be responsible to maintain appropriate insurance for their respective interests in the Premises and property located on the Premises. Guest shall also maintain any other insurance which Manager may reasonably require for the protection of Manager`s interest in the Premises. Guest is responsible for maintaining casualty insurance on its own property. It is recommended that travel or vacation insurance is obtained by the Guest. Manager requires unit insurance coverage purchase at booking.brNON-DISTURBANCE CLAUSE. Guest and their guests shall not disturb, annoy, endanger (fireworks) or inconvenience neighbors nor use the premises for any unlawful purposes. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Guests shall adhere to noise policy and shall interact kindly with neighbors. Guests understand that many units are in residential areas and will act with the utmost respect while at the premise or in the neighborhood/condo. Guest will not be heard using foul language, being rude, arguing or displaying obvious intoxication.brGuest will treat property with the same care as if the property was their home and will not hinder normal traffic patterns in the area. Guests will not do anything neither at the unit nor in the neighborhood/building that would cause complaints from neighbors, HOA or Condo Managers or police/code enforcement. Guest will abide by any parking restrictions.brCANCELLATIONS. (a) If the Property becomes unavailable to the Guest prior to occupancy, for any reason, Manager agrees to refund the full amount paid to the date of cancellation, and Guest agrees to rebooking any claims against Manager. (b) Cancellations from guest will be refunded as described on the booking site used by guest. Guest understands that use of OTA’s such as Airbnb frequently require the guest contact the OTA directly as sites like Airbnb hold the guests money and Manager may not have ability to refund.brCancellations related to the COVID-19 pandemic are dependent on a number of factors including: local restrictions, origin of the guest, when the booking was made, and when local officials or the CDC declare an outbreak in an area. If the cancellation is related to COVID-19, please refer to the booking sites policy.brSMOKING. Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the Property. Smoking is only allowed `outside`. Evidence of smoking inside the Property will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of all amounts paid and will result in additional Cleaning Fee charges to Guest as Excess Damage Cost and will be charged against the credit card on file. Smoking near open doors and windows that leads to interior smell of smoke will be charged as if guest was smoking in unit. Please note, purchased damage coverage does not cover smoking and guests card on file will be charged $500 for damage and smoke remediation.brCOOKING. Guest may cook only in the specific areas set aside by Manager for cooking. No open fires are allowed other than in the grill, outdoor fireplace, or in the stone hearth. The grill must remain in open area, away from trees, house, etc. All fires must be thoroughly extinguished before leaving unattended.brCLEANING. The property will be inspected and cleaned after departure. Due to the pandemic, the property will augment current cleaning protocol to account for the changes in cleaning in adherence to COVID-19 cleaning protocols. The cleaning fee includes laundry service for the towels and linens. Guest is required to leave the property in the same general condition thatbrbr it was received in by making sure that the dishes are washed and put away, and the house is generally picked up and ready to be vacuumed, dusted, disinfected and laundered. Pet fee must be paid within 2 days of booking. brNo smoking anything in house, just go outsidebrNo events or partiesbrbrProvided: 3 rolls toilet paper per bathroom, hand soap, dish soap (small bottle), 1 roll paper towels, 1 trash bag per bin, 3 dish soaps and three laundry pods. brbrGuests will be required to provide a photo ID and credit card for security deposit ($500). Security deposit is a pre-authorization, not an actual charge, unless there is damage or missing items. Authorization is removed within 48 hours of check-out. brbrThis is a non-smoking unit-we don`t care what you smoke, just do it outside. Any smoke smell in home or evidence of smoking in home will result in complete loss of security deposit. If you smoke in the home, it both is unfair to the owner that is working hard to keep their unit nice and to the next guest that rented a smoke-free home. It`s Florida, this is non-negotiable so please understand. brbrWe have our cleaners thoroughly clean and sanitize the home between each guest. We also ask our guests to please do the following at check-out (note, if this upsets you please simply find another location as there is a massive labor shortage, we frequently have guests ask for early or late check-in/out and this is how we are able to make things smooth for all guests. Please note our check out instructions:br1. Strip all beds used and pillows and put sheets, pillow covers and used towels in a pile in center of room or on beds for beds used.br2. Turn off all lights, fans can be left on. br3. Turn off TVs, coffee makers and other electronics. br4. All dishes should either be cleaned or put into dishwasher and start dishwasher cycle. This is to avoid dishes getting crusty and attracting bugs.br5. Please load one load of towels into washing machine and start. br6. Return any books, games, beach items, etc (beach items should be rinsed outside to get rid of any excess sand). br7. Empty any outdoor ashtrays, clean up any cigarette butts.br8. Empty all food from refrigerator (you can leave never opened beverages and used condiments if you wish) put in outside trash and make sure trash is on curb Sun night or Wed night. br9. Make sure keys are left in lockbox ($50 per key replacement) and garage remote and/or parking pass left on counter ($100 replacement fee).br10. Wipe down countertops and leave home the way you found it. br11. Turn A/C to 78 degrees prior to departure.br12. Drive or fly home safely and come back and see us soon!brbrPets (dogs) allowed with pre-approval, max 2. Pet fee is $25 per pup per day with pre-approval. AGREEMENTbrOn behalf of Salty Dog Vacations, LLC, the party authorized to rent the vacation rental property and the owner of the vacation rental property, Waivo has assumed the responsibility for damages as outlined below and waives Your security deposit up to $2,500, the waiver limit purchased by You, the renter, for your stay at the vacation rental property.brWaivo is hereby responsible for theft or direct damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of Your acts or omissions. Waivo will pay the lesser of the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to $2,500. This waiver does not negate your responsibilities as a renter for items outside of Waivo’s responsibilities.brThis is not an agreement to provide insurance. You are buying a waiver of the security deposit otherwise due as part of Your vacation rental property lease agreement.brII. EXCLUSIONSbrThis Security Deposit Waiver will not pay for damages or theft resulting from:br1. Acts of Godbr2. Prior damage, cosmetic damage, or normal wear and tearbr3. CONDITIONSbrWaivo has the sole authority to determine the nature and extent of damages, necessary repairs, and eligibility for the waiver, and shall exercise that authority in a reasonable manner.brWaivo reserves the right to determine if damage is eligible for reimbursement at actual cash value. brThis Waiver will pay for excessive cleaning, as a direct result of damage, over and above the normal cleaning fee. An irreparable stain or spillage is considered damage. brThis Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay, of up to 90 days, for which You purchased the Waiver. Located in Daytona Beach Shores, approximately 8 miles south of the Daytona Beach Boardwalk, you are in the perfect location with everything you need close by. Within walking distance to the beach, Starbucks, TERRIFIC restaurants, bars, karaoke, pool, putt-putt golf and more. Feel the ocean breeze at your door, add in the palm trees and you are ready for a PERFECT BEACH VACATION. brbr2 bedrooms (one queen bed, one full bed)(sleeps 4) and 1 Bath. Wifi with streaming T.V.s in each Bedroom and the Living Room, Fully furnished with everything you need including a washer and dryer. All linens are provided. Initial supply of paper products are provided and a CVS is right across the street for any of your needs. Games, puzzles, books and dvds - all provided for your enjoyment. brbrThe washer/dryer are located in the garage which will fit one car OR a couple of motorcycles. There is parking for two cars in the driveway. Plenty of parking for four people. The backyard is partially fenced in, with a lush back side, and a grill is included. brbrLocated on the Peninsula you have the Halifax River to the west and the Atlantic Ocean, with the WORLD'S MOST FASMOUS BEACH to the east, the perfect place to put feet in the sand, a boogie board in the waves, and a drink on ice. So pick the River to fish off the pier, watch the sun go down or watch the dolphins swim, OR choose the beach for a beautiful sunrise, the seagulls in the sky and waves on your toes - both are within a short walk. Now who could ask for anything more brbrThe pier restaurant is within walking distance, as well as ski-doo, paddle board and kayak rentals. You can hear the roar of the engines from the International Speedway which might entice you to tour the speedway and check out Daytona One, or your a short 45 minute drive to Universal, Sea World and the other Orlando attractions.brbrAnd YES - one of the best ice cream stands in the area is just a short walk away. Check out one of the events and a cold brew is waiting at the Dunes Brewery, right around the corner, and Casual Bird Cafe is just around the other corner for a tasty breakfast or lunch. Not to mention - Genose's Italian Restaurant, right across the street from Casual Bird, where you will find fabulous pizza (they have delivery) and authentic Italian food.brbrWATCH A ROCKET LAUNCH - it's the perfect location to watch a launch. Named after our beloved golden doodle, Stella's Beach House is much like her: easy to love. It's a four-minute walk to the beach; a two-minute walk to the intercoastal; walking distance to mini-golf, cafes, restaurants, and nightlife; and quick drive to universities, the Speedway, and Daytona activities. Stella’s Beach House is dog-friendly (a pet fee of $125 covers up to 2 dogs per stay) and includes living and dining areas, a remote workspace, kitchen with coffee bar, front and back patios, new high efficiency washer and dryer, and a large fenced green space.We have three bedrooms that accommodate four adults and two children only with two queen beds and two bunk beds. We only accept guests booking who are 21 and over with a valid ID. There is one bathroom that has a shower, and the other bathroom has a sink and toilet only. This is a 1,300-square foot property so it has a small footprint and is not designed for more than six people.Guests can access the entire house and garage for laundry. They can also access the front and back yards.Please note that this house was built in 1960 and, although updated, is not designed for charging an electric vehicle. Doing so may lead to power issues during your stay, including tripped circuit breakers. This house is for people to enjoy while they are here in Daytona Beach to work, play, and have fun. There is no smoking or vaping allowed indoors. It is a quiet beachside neighborhood, so this house is not designed for large numbers of people or parties. There are no fireworks or events allowed. If you do not adhere to these rules and you have more than six people staying overnight in the home, you will be asked to leave or escorted by local law enforcement should you not adhere to these rules.
