The cottage, which is the original building, dates back to the 17th century and still retains a rotating mill wheel which was completely refurbished last year. The cottage is attached to our main house and we are situated in the older part of the village which has retained much of its original charm. The garden borders the River Caen, which meanders through Braunton village and out into the Taw & Torridge estuary. Just across the river is the beautiful 13th Century church of St.Brannock. Just a five-minute walk into the village centre, you will find a variety of pubs, restaurants, cafes and surf shops. We operate a non-smoking policy throughout the cottage.
