Stayed Jun 12, 2025The property is ideal for a family of our size (6 adults and one 2yr old) although we did find the bottom bunk bed too small for 2 adults - although it is listed as a double - one of us had to use the bed settee in the living room but this wasn't a major problem.Interior space was good with proper size dining table and spacious kitchen area. Garden and raised patio area is perfect with full sun most of the day but with adequate shade if needed.Evening stroll into Croyde less that 5 min walk, then back for the hot tub - perfect.We did have a minor issue with working the hot water/boiler system when we first arrived but the owners were immediately on hand and sorted it without any fuss.Communication with owners was great from initial booking to end of our stay.Only negative is that you do need to be mindful of the camp site next door. We stayed for 5 nights, the first 4 were totally peaceful - unfortunately for the last nights a large group of school children descended on the site and my god did we know about it. Despite the, I assume teachers, telling them to quieten down at 10pm, they continued well past 11pm then woke us all up just after 6am the next morning. Just grateful they didn't arrive any earlier.Obviously this is no reflection on the property owners but as a review - we have to be honest.

Stayed Jul 30, 2022My son and grandsons one with girlfriend used the property and loved it, especially the benefit of having the hot tub.
