Croftner, Great Field Lodges - Hot Tub, free WiFI & Parking

My partner and I had a fabulous winter break with our little dog. The hot tub was warm and clean, the lodge was beautiful and immaculate, the garden was fully enclosed so we didn’t have to worry about the dog, and we were just a short drive from the beach and local restaurants and takeaways. It was a wonderful, great value, stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to return - thank you so much.

Recently stayed at Great Fields lodges for the second time and we're not disappointed. Fabulous lodges, good location and brilliant host. Can't fault the property, superbly appointed with plenty of space inside and out. Hot tub protected by the elements just in case. Everything appears to have been considered for your comfort. Will be back in 2026

The lodge was immaculately clean and beautifully set up. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom has everything you need including a stand alone bath. The self contained and secure garden was perfect for our dog to have some freedom when we were home. The kitchen had pretty much everything you need including a small dishwasher perfect for two people. We didn't use the hot tub so cannot comment on that.

Had a wonderful time at croftner, the lodge was clean and tidy and had everything we needed, the hot tub was a great touch at the end of day out, so relaxing, the garden was brilliant for the dog, completely closed in and safe, would highly recommend staying here.

Such a lovely place, dogs had a brilliant time. Really well located. Lodges are stunning! Highly recommended and I wished I had booked for 2 weeks!

Lodge was immaculate with a large enclosed garden for our dog to roam freely whilst we enjoyed the jacuzzi (frequently!) Choice of outdoor furniture was appreciated. This was our 3rd stay at Great Field Lodges and we hope to return again!

Cannot fault a thing, we would go back in a heartbeat. Plenty of space inside and out, with a very private garden, a great deck area, and hot tub too! Inside there’s a well equipped kitchen / living room, comfortable and spacious bedroom, and a modern bathroom with a great shower. Good communication from the owners from start to finish. Ps. We bought a bag of the farm’s potatoes and they are amazing! Can’t wait to go back there again. Gary, Lyn, and the dogs.

Me and my partner stayed for 3 nights with our dog and to say we had the most lovely time is an understatement. The lodge was in perfect condition with lovely touches like a bottle of Prosecco and dog treats for the puppy. The area was amazing with incredible walks and a lovely town with a great fish and chips (Squires) and great brunch spots. We will definitely be back again and can’t thank the owners enough for such a lovely weekend.

We really enjoyed the time at Croftner, the lodge was nice and warm on frosty mornings. The garden was great for the dogs, nice and private.

We had a perfect weekend in this lovely lodge, we met the host on arrival very helpful. The lodge was very peaceful, private and well appointed, we especially enjoyed the hot tu The lodge was warm and cosy in the evening, especially after coming in from the hot tub. We are looking forward to booking again.

We have always had an amazing experience staying here the two times we have been. The place is in a very convenient place and easy to get to places close by for entertainment. The hot tub is amazing and private with no one overlooking. All in all a 10/10 stay as always

The lodge was perfect for us as a couple with our dog. It was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and just the right size. We thoroughly enjoyed using the hot tub daily and it was nice that the garden was fenced off to allow our dog to roam free whilst we were using the hot tub. We brought a lot of food for our stay, but it was nice that some bits were already provided to get us started such as a small milk, coffee pods, shortbread biscuits and a bottle of prosecco!

Beautiful lodge, very clean and everything you need for a short break. Lovely welcome gifts of prosecco, shortbreads and biscuits for the dog! Plus the enclosed garden for our dog was brilliant! Thank you very much xx

We stayed at the great field lodges last year (different lodge to this time). Like last time, the lodge is clean and spacious. It's fitted and kitted out with all the necessaries needed for a comfortable holiday stay. Toilet roll, small bottle of milk, biscuits and treats for the dog, just to name a few :) Bathroom is big and so tastefully done. The whole place is tastefully done!! Design and layout is perfect for two of you (and a little one if like us). The fact it is dog friendly makes it even better. To have a holiday home as beautiful and luxurious as this, with the added benefits of a huge, fully fenced in and secure garden for our dog, makes this place our new number one home, from home. The price is so good, especially considering your location and what you get for your money - errr hello hot tub??!!! Everything is clean and in immaculate condition. It's so peaceful and you aren't ever infringing on any of the other lodges there (6 in total, 3 either side). I haven't had to contact Sarah during my stays, however she did contact me when we left an item behind - how lovely to have honest people around who care when you've left something behind!! I have seen her in passing. What a lovely lady. I'm sure if I did need anything or have any questions during my stay, she would be happy to help without a doubt. I cannot recommend this place enough, a real hidden gem. Look forward to coming back in July for two weeks (we're getting married in Ilfracombe) but holiday in Saunton and Croyde every year and have done since I was a baby. Location is brilliant, so many dog walks, dog friendly beaches and pubs nearby.
