We are at the head of the river looking towards the Niantic bridge. Just up the river is Niantic bay, which has several dockside seafood restaurants, We are a few minutes drive from 4 beaches and we provide chairs, cooler, umbrellas and boogie boards.brbrOther things to notebrThe couch/futon in the den area is not a high-quality bed. Therefore, if there is a fifth person that may or may not be suitable. Youngsters and teens should be OK or possibly a laid-back adult but it’s good to know. Also, at times our water pressure is low-ish for a few minutes while the well is getting back to high-pressure. If you’re using the washing machine or the dishwasher, you will experience some lower water pressure in the shower.

Upstairs features, 3 queen bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, one of which includes a jetted tub and the washer and dryer. A 4th bedroom with full size futon bed is in the finished lower level with walk-out. Enjoy amenities like the grill on deck with table, chairs & umbrella, and an outdoor shower. Beach chairs, blanket, and umbrella for your use on the beach included. Garage and driveway parking at the house. Pass for beach parking access and turnaround is included, as well as access to tennis courts, basketball courts, children's playground which are only a 3-minute walk from the home. We'll be available to answer any questions while you stay at our place.

A music stand is available as well as lots of piano sheet music. There is a wood burning fireplace which I prefer not be used by guests unless specifically agreed upon at check in, one Duraflame log only. The host may work in the yard during longer guest stays, and cleaning / linen change is also available during longer stays. brBooks, games, puzzles, grown up coloring for rainy days, or ponchos and umbrella for braving rainy days! This historic home has modern amenities coupled with original flooring and exposed beams from the 1800s. The backyard features 2 decks and an outdoor shower, and is fully fenced in with latching gates, creating a private oasis. It is walking distance to downtown shopping, restaurants, and the beaches!brbrBe aware that the upstairs has low ceilings, just under 7 ft, with a vaulted ceiling in the master bedroom and bath. The basement is not finished but has an additional seating area with a smart TV, game area, and laundry station.brbrSeasonally, you can enjoy yard games such as cornhole and badmitton, or lay back in the hammock and relax.
