Twin Lakes is known for its great fishing (a trophy lake) This lake (West Twin) has no public access, so it’s very quiet. The cottage can sleep 6 people comfortably. It has two bedrooms (1 queen and 2 twin beds), a queen pullout couch and a bathroom .There is a bright and airy open living room and dining area. Cuddle up on the comfy sofa cozy by the large fire place inside, or enjoy the fresh air toasting marshmallows in the fire- pit on a cool evening. Enjoy cooking your meals on a gas or charcoal grill, while savoring your meal in the sunshine on the large deck facing the lake. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker. We have a flat screen TV with WiFi, and central air conditioning. The bathroom was recently renovated and has all new fixtures and stack washer & dryer! In the Fall & Winter, enjoy coxy fires from the original Ben Franklin wood stove in the red library, and in the downstairs guest room. Skiing is nearby at Mohawk Mountain and Catamount. There are tons of wonderful restaurants, antiquing, and other things to do as you have access to NY, CT, and Massachusetts within a 15 minute drive.
