It’s not noise isolated like hotels, but quiet enough.

The property had everything that was needed in the suite. Nothing was skimped on like in some places I have stayed at and all was good quality. I did find one issue regarding cleaning the room from a previous stay but it was minor and likely a one time thing.

The Haven in Edgemont Village, North Vancouver was exactly that for us. We flew in from Ontario due to a family health crisis and this suite was just what we needed. It was fully equipped to prepare our own meals, easy walk to a full service grocery store as well as bakery, coffee shops, restaurants, drug stores and other amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed walking the lovely quiet neighbourhood and chatting with residents and their dogs. Our days were primarily spent at Lions Gate Hospital and the drive was a stress-free simple route that got us to the parking lot in under 10 minutes. While it would have been nice to be walking distance the tranquility of Edgemont made up for the drive. There is a wonderful ravine/park behind the house which is another world away from the stress we were under. Our hosts were quick to respond when needed and respected our need for space during this very trying time. We would highly recommend both the location and the suite. It is as pictured in the listing, compact but has everything needed for an independent stay. The in-suite laundry was especially appreciated in our situation.

The host was very nice. We had ebikes that they allowed us to store safely in their yard. Shower had great pressure and hot water. Bed was very good. The area was wonderful only 2 blocks from town.We stayed 1 month and felt the unit was too small for such a long stay. Pictures made it look bigger. Also very dark with one small window in bathroon and 1 med. window in bedroom. About 500 sq feet total. Parking was at a premium at times due to daily communters into Vancover. This would be a great stay for a few days or maybe a week, but no longer.

We stayed for a week at the Haven for a much needed couples getaway from life and kids. We celebrated our anniversary, a 40th birthday and Father’s Day. The Haven is located in a very welcoming, walkable neighborhood with nearby restaurants, shops and grocery stores. Plus the convenience to nearby attractions made our trip more enjoyable! It was the perfect!

Honestly, this was my first time using VRBO. We planned this trip months out. Months. Budgeted etc as the economy is unpredictable at this time. To be honest, the area was nice. But upon arrival, it was very clear this place was not cleaned. First, my husband went to use the bathroom and there was crusted pee on the toilet. Then, we noticed hair, dust and crumbs on the floor. First time we showered the drain didn't even drain. But what really was the cherry on the top was the package of open condoms we found in the dresser to put our clothes in and then further, went to grab a garbage bag from you know, a garbage bag box and my husband went to open the bag and touched a used condom!!!! Absolutely disgusting. I did contact the host and she was prompt, with providing a broom so that I could sweep, and draino to unclog the drain. And she was apologetic reassuring me the place was clean and she saw it before we arrived. My mum had a cleaning business I used to help with and I can assure you this place was not cleaned properly. I appreciate the flowers and wine that was given to us I am assuming as an apology but I would of rathered a refund so I could have went to a hotel. Before I get a response saying you could have left, who just has 1400 to spend again on another place to stay. This was very disappointing since this was my first VRBO experience and honestly next time I will just stay in a hotel because i shouldn't have to question the integrity of cleanliness.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. An amazing part of Vancouver to stay in - the cutest town. Our hosts were excellent and the property is exactly as shown. This is the place you need to stay in Van!

Everything on the listing was extremely accurate, down to the time to Capilano Park and things to do in Edgemont Village. Location is extremely quiet. Communicating with the owners was very easy leading up to and during the stay. We had a great time staying here!

This unit is a basement apartment that was so comfortable and convenient for my husband and I who were traveling to the Vancouver area for the first time. We could walk up to the coffee shop every morning before we started our excursion for the day. Very convenient for a day trip to Squamish, Stanley Park/Vancouver,and Capilano. Make sure to check out Cleveland Dam and the trails there. We played golf at Northlands and really enjoyed it. The unit was well stocked and quiet, the bed sleep great and I loved the water pressure in the shower. Having a washer/dryer was a bonus as I could wash all of our hiking clothes before we left to embark on a cruise to Alaska. We never saw the hosts but we didn’t need to - everything was perfect!
