Waterfront escape with gas grill, furnished deck, fast WiFi, beach access nearby

It was a cute cottage on Swan Pond. It was still fairly warm this time of year and the cottage was pretty hot. AC window units were moldy so we just dealt with it. Primary bathroom down stairs seemed to have a shower door that was under construction and a little dangerous to be honest. We were looking forward to sitting down by the water but the yard and landscaping was pretty overgrown so we didn’t get to enjoy it.. neighbors are kind of out of your control, but they were outside yelling and cussing every night.. overall a little disappointed.

For the most part it was very comfortable bright and cheery. The kitchen was well equipped perfect for for our use! The bathrooms were very clean, the downstairs shower had only one door but it was plain to see they were in the process of fixing it and i was still able to use it. My sister stayed in the upstairs bedroom with the queen bed and it was a lovely room, i was downstairs which also had a queen bed which was very comfortable. The only complaint I would have was the carpet in the bedrooms needed a good cleaning or replacement. They had dressers but were mostly filled with bedding and towels which it would have been nice to be able to use. The neighborhood was very nice but the house next door had quite a few vehicles and some were parked on the street which made it a bit awkward at times getting in the driveway. The most difficult was opening the lock on the door! It might've been me but i would put in the numbers it would give me the green light and when i went to open it, it would open a tiny bit and stop. Eventually it would co- operate. Both my sister and i really enjoyed our stay there and we both agreed we would return again so the negative aspects i have put down is just to improve ones stay a little bit more. We loved our time at the Cape!!!

Loved it, beautiful house good location

House is exactly as described.

The house overall was lovely. Quaint, beautiful view of swan pond from the deck. However, my primary issue is that the house is advertised as having AC. While the bedrooms have wall AC units, and cool the rooms beautifully, the living area does not have AC. Had this been clearly stated, we would not have rented this property. Additionally, but far less significant to us, the house is not well stocked w kitchen and laundry basics (no olive oil, one oven mitt, no dryer sheets, no extra garbage bags, no ziploc bags), which houses we rented all over the NE vacation towns have supplied. Lastly, we’ve also always had binders with the hosts recs for local eats, entertainment, etc, and clear directions about how to care for property (where to throw garbage, etc). I had to reach out to get direction as needed. Overall, it’s a costly property to not have the small and bigger ticket items noted above in place.

Our first impression wasn’t great. The yard is very different than what we are accustomed to and the immediate neighborhood is crowded with cars, trucks, motorcycles, and other odds and ends. The house itself is large enough and nicely decorated. The pictures on the web site capture it perfectly. There was plenty of room for six adults and three cars. There is also plenty of beach gear stored in the basement. The deck off the kitchen is a great place to start and end the day. The gas fire pit on the deck works well. We did not use the gas grill. Remember to bring along extra paper products and trash bags if you plan to stay long as there are “no extras” provided.

The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. Really loved it aside from the fact that it became quite warm with only partial ac. Great quiet road and very well stocked.

Lovely house great location, comfortable & clean & as advertised. Few challenges - electronic key pad did not work, took numerous tries to gain access, finally we contacted Vacasa who eventually gave us a lockbox code. The outside patio table was filthy, so we cleaned it.

The house is very accurately described and was perfect for our group. The location was central to all of the Cape. The view of the pond is spectacular!

We loved the tranquility of the surrounding area. Beautiful view. Bedding comfy, bathrooms clean. Kitchen clean. Really enjoyed our stay, especially since we were leaving Florida behind and Hurricane Milton.

Property was beautiful. Beds were very comfortable.

Small but cute house with all the amenities you need. House has a beautiful back yard with chairs to sit and look at the water. Centrally located for sightseeing etc.

My husband and I along with another couple had a long weekend at this home and it was great! Location was nice and easy to get to nearby restaurants and shops. House was very clean and had all the amenities we needed.

We stayed in the house with our son and his girlfriend. Perfect for 2 couples- we each had our own bathroom. Location was very central and close to great restaurants! We would definitely recommend!
