Seven bedroom directly across street from shared/private beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week here with my 3 adult children and their partners along with 6 grandchildren under 5! Location is what made this ideal as the walk to the beach takes 2 minutes! The house was clean and all appliances were workable. A nice 4 burner Weber grill was perfect since we ate most meals at home. I would say there are only 7 bedrooms and that’s including a basement one. There are not 8.

House was as described, clean, well equipped, great outdoor space and surprisingly quiet. We very much appreciated the location, walkable neighborhood with beaches, eateries and shops so close by.

The location directly across from the beach was great for the smaller kids, as was the fully fenced back yard. And that game room! We had the BEST week!

This property accommodated well our family of 13 (me and my wife, 3 married children, 1 unmarried, and 4 grands) using both sides. It is promoted as 8 bedrooms, but there are only 7, unless game room downstairs is counted as a bedroom but it is full of games and only has a couch. Still, plenty of places to sleep and large enough dining area to all eat together. Enjoyable backyard space. Super convenient to beach. A notebook with info about the area would have been helpful. Also, more specific instructions about the HVAC units would have been nice. In addition, breakers for the baseboard heat were off, but we didn’t know why or if they should stay that way. Hot water heater breaker on one side was also off when we arrived and we had to turn that on which was a very minor inconvenience. Game room downstairs was super enjoyable. Plenty of tvs to watch. Outdoor showers were awesome. Overall, WAY more pros than cons. The cons would NOT keep us from returning and the pros would definitely draw us back.

I hadn’t rented on the Cape for quite some time and have to say I was a little apprehensive. But Martha Murray Realty was more than helpful and made the overall rental experience easy, from the contract to the check in/ check out. The house itself was the perfect place. The house was clean and neat. I am a nurse, so with all that is going on right now, the cleanliness was a huge plus!! There was one rug that had dog hair all over it, and we let the realty know at check out so the owner didn’t think it was ours. ( no pet policy) I would not hesitate to rent here again.
