The house is gorgeous and just perfect for a relaxing vacation. It is well equipped with everything needed. Kitchen perfectly stocked, lots of games, kayaks for the lake, nice patio furniture, washer and dryer- it is all there. Dianne was a wonderful hostess, giving us lots of wonderful instructions for the home and checking in on us. We would definitely recommend!

Our family of eight adults stayed three nights at this property, and absolutely LOVED it! I only wished we had spent more of our time in AK here. The home is simply beautiful, beautifully furnished and decorated, every detail is top notch. Close enough to take the afternoon bus tour of Denali. We actually spent our last full day in AK at the house, lounging on the dock, kayaking, taking the paddleboat out onto the lake, and just being totally relaxed. We'd highly recommend this property.

This home is impeccably maintained, very clean and well appointed, with a sweeping lawn and stunning back deck overlooking the lake. The view out back is both serene and inspiring. The beds were comfortable and the master suite was exceptional. The kitchen had everything we needed. There’s only one TV which was fine with us, and I think we only used it briefly one night. The home was a good base for our travels north of Anchorage. It was rainy most of our time while there so we had limited opportunity to use the lake toys - maybe next time! Dianne, the owner, was great to work with during booking, check in, and departure. We loved our stay at this property and we definitely recommend it.

Wow! We just returned from 5 blissful nights in this amazing home. To call it a cabin is an incredible understatement. This is a beautiful executive home - sitting on a quiet, remote lake. Dianne has thought of everything - from the delightful linens, to the well stocked kitchen, to the lawn games and outdoor furniture - even wet suits and life jackets. Our family made up of 8 teens and adults played board games, kayaked on the lake, enjoyed the bonfire, read, hung out and marveled at the deep quiet and beauty of the area. The pictures here on VRBO don't really do the house justice. It's actually much bigger and more spacious than it looks here. The downstairs area is very roomie with tons of space to sleep. The master is incredibly romantic and comfortable. All in all - highly recommend. We hope that you have as much fun as we did!

We loved our stay here in Willow, Alaska! The home is beautiful as well as the lake and everything that surrounds it. Nancy Lake is peaceful and we enjoyed kayaking on the lake. We had amazing weather while we were here so we had the opportunity to spend a lot of time outside. The house is very well set up for rainy days with things to do if you have to be indoors! Dianne was super helpful! We would definitely stay here again! Loved it!

This property is off the value scale. There are just too many amenities to use in one trip. The owner has exceptional taste and has thought of everything. If there is a down side, we could not find it.

Dianne was very nice to work with and answered all questions promptly, and was very helpful with suggestions of things to do in the area, distances to places, etc.. The home is as described, and is lovely. Spectacular views and many extra amenities, especially for enjoying the lake and dock. The lake is fairly quiet, and we saw loons on the lake, and moose not far from the house! Our granddaughters used the kayaks, row boat and paddle boats and even swam off the dock! Wet suits are there as well. Kitchen well stocked for cooking meals, bring your own fresh foods, plenty of seating, most comforts of home. Plenty of towels, and supplies for a weeks stay. Fire pit great for evening hot dog roast and s'mores. Lawn chairs, outdoor games, activities, and picnic tables as well. Great location for seeing lots of sights. We took day trips, going to Seward from Anchorage, before heading to the house, where we did Seavey's Ididaride Dog Sledding (on land, not snow) our first day. Also went to Denali doing the shuttle tour another day, and to Whittier, on the 26 Glacier Tour, and did the Alaska Rail train and raft tour out of Anchorage to Whittier, during our week's stay. Did a 9 mile round trip hike up to Reeds Lakes from Hatcher Pass. Some difficult terrain, but beautiful scenery. My husband brought home a broken ankle as a souvenir! :-( Be well prepared for the hike, it is wilderness, and grizzly's were spotted in the days before we did the hike. We highly recommend all of those activities. Plan lots of driving time if you intend to see lots of sights. Many 2 lane roads, but beautiful scenery everywhere! Besides not being able to stay longer, our only disappointment was the hot tub, listed as an amenity when we booked the house, needed repair and was not working during our stay. Our son and family were quite disappointed, since we only found that out a week before our stay. And it would have felt wonderful after a long day hiking or touring! Hopefully it will be repaired soon. Overall I would highly recommend this home. It is perfect for extended family. Plenty of bathrooms and sleeping areas, games and places for everyone to have their own space. My husband and I, and our son, daughter-in-law and 3 older teen granddaughters were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, it was a perfect place to do that, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Alaska is amazing, and everyone we met was very friendly. Even at the Alaska Urgent Care center in Anchorage
