Summary:

Uncle Rolfs Cozy Cottage

The Space:

The first cottage built on the street, this classic Cape Cod getaway boasts coastal charm and knotty pine accents that every guest will fall in love with. There will be no need to sacrifice any comforts of home while away, as the cozy living area offers a flatscreen TV and free WiFi is available for sharing favorite memories with friends and family back home. When everyone builds up an appetite, the fully equipped kitchen will be just the ticket for preparing a homecooked meal. Not to mention, the entire floorplan is a single-story making this a perfect escape for any guest! What's nearby: Of course, the Cape has some of the best beaches in the world, one of which, Glendon Road Beach, is only 1/3 of a mile away and an easy walk. A local favorite is Coast Guard Beach sitting 20 miles from home base. Passing through cranberry bogs, salt marshes, beaches, a state park, forests, and more, the Cape Cod Rail Trail is sublime; there is an entrance with a parking lot a couple of miles away from the cottage. Provincetown is loaded with funky charm and if you are feeling nostalgic, visit one of the few remaining drive-ins in Wellfleet (28 miles). Check out the national acts that visit the Cape Cod Melody Tent. If you are feeling adventurous, go whale watching out of Provincetown or take the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket. For dining, consider the fried clams and clam cakes at Captain Frosty’s in Dennis. Thuan Loi in S. Yarmouth has some of the best Vietnamese food anywhere. For ice cream, you can’t go wrong with Cape Cod Creamery in S. Yarmouth or Schoolhouse in Harwichport. Things to know: High-speed WiFi Elder access Full kitchen (no dishwasher)

We enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for a small cottage, the AC worked well, and the extra room was nice for my 2 kids. We also liked the outdoor shower.

We enjoyed our stay at Uncle Rolf's in Dennisport. The home was quiet and quaint and close enough to walk to the beach. The management company, Vacasa, did a great job preparing the home for us. We'll be back next year!

The house rental was generally fine, but there are a few things that could use improvement: The screen on the side door needs repair—the tears are large enough that we couldn’t leave the door open without letting bugs in. The lampshade in the twin bedroom is in poor condition and really should be replaced. The kitchen floor was quite dirty. When we arrived, some water spilled, and when I wiped it up, the paper towel turned black, which was concerning. Just wanted to share this feedback in hopes it helps improve the experience for future guests.

Loved the location. Enjoyed breakfasts and lunches in the back and loved the outside shower. So nice to shower off under the stars or sunny sky. Would definitely stay here again

This cottage proved a good central location for exploring Cape Cod. It was clean and seemed well cared for. We stayed in September and it was very quiet the whole time. Beach is walking distance which is convenient.

This is a beautiful cozy cottage, perfect for a small family. Centrally located on the Cape close to a lot of sights and attractions. There is a beach and restaurant within walking distance. My granddaughters and I had a great stay this summer.

Super cute and very clean! This cottage is cozy and comfortable for a family with 2 young kids... basic items for a comfortable beach day - including toys - and a short walk to a small private beach make it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the cape.

This was my first time booking a place through Vacasa, and I'd gladly do it again. A very positive experience.
