Stayed Dec 5, 2025The place was ok, amenities were not in great condition. The floor in the living room had a large bad spot that had been taped over and ‘hidden’ by a rug. The rug didn’t lay flat and we kept tripping over it so we picked it up & found the spot. Master bedroom has no closet. No door to the bathroom- toilet is in plain sight of bed. Also, the house sleeps 6 but only 4 plates in the house, 3 chairs at the table, etc. Not enough toilet paper, no additional trash bags provided, just a lack of ‘necessities’. The dishes in the cabinets were not really clean- stuck on food and we found a fake eyelash stuck on the cutting board! However, the location was very convenient to multiple attractions. After dumping the water out of the uncovered fire pit we enjoyed having a fire outside. Decent sized bedrooms and large bathrooms!

Stayed Nov 21, 2025The house was clean and contained good amenities. We enjoyed the grill and firepit. Unfortunately, we did not see the nice cutting knives under the over until we were leaving. The fire alarm is extremely sensitive. Each time we cooked on the stove, it set the alarm off. Last, the VRBO posting states there is a twin bed with trundle. We did not find this.

Stayed Oct 25, 2025Excellent communication with the owner, great location is near everything , very clean and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The only detail is they described river front and it’s not. The river is across street and you can’t see from the house.

Stayed Jun 17, 2025We loved the house. 2 bedrooms with a bathroom one end and master suite the other end. Perfect for our mixed group of family and friends. Kitchen and living room were central and we enjoyed chatting and game time there. The house is only 2.5 miles from Cherokee so very convenient for visiting the Oconoluftee village and Unto These Hills performance as well as souvenir shops, coffee shops and restaurants. A delightful stay with a wonderful host.

Initially we had to adjust room assignments because the 3rd bedroom has a double bed instead of the 2 twins as indicated on the VRBO listing. My grands were good about it but a bit disappointed. We agree with another reviewer that the very open style mastbath suite

Stayed Sep 19, 2024We were in town for a bowling tournament at the casino. There were 4 of us and a small pet. We were greeted by the most beautiful butterflies I have seen! They were on the bushes right where we drove up. The property is gorgeous and the house was perfectly suited for our needs. It was very clean and Abby was great at answering any questions very quickly. I would definitely recommend and stay again! The master bedroom shower is amazing.
