Cabin #2 is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic getaway or a small family vacation, with a deck overlooking the river! This unit has a private queen bed downstairs, and a full bed in the loft. New gas log fireplace and HVAC system along with wifi and YoutubeTV to keep you and your party entertained.

*Up to 2 pets are welcome at this unit for a fee of $35.

Each of our log cabins has a full front porch just a few feet away from the Oconaluftee River, which offers someof the best trout fishing around. This river is stocked with brown and rainbow trout. Fly fishermen can enjoy the “catch and release” waters with trophy sized fish just minutes away. The cabins line the Oconaluftee River with a view across the river that is forest land with no development. The cabins are separated by full deck areas with privacy fencing in between. This cabin features a large deck with chairs and a swing and great view of the slow moving river. You can see the fish below in these clear waters, and reach it with a careful climb down! A small charcoal grill is located in front of the cabin. This river also provides a great place for rafting, tubing, and swimming. This cabin features an open living/kitchen/dining space downstairs along with a primary queen bedroom and ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower. Upstairs, enjoy a cool loft with a queen bed and end table. The cabin is cozy for a small family, fishermen, or a couple looking to get away.

We have 6 total hand-built log cabins that are each stocked with kitchen supplies, new couches and bedding, and basic shower/restroom goods. High-speed internet and streaming televisions in the living room as well as main bedroom make sure you don't miss a beat. New HVAC systems and gas fireplaces create comfort for all, with automatic settings so you don't have to worry about how to set up. The back of the cabins are just off of Big Cove Road, which has low to moderate traffic and sidewalks into town, food and shopping. We believe you'll find the setting peaceful and enjoyable.

The cabin was super cute and even though there are other cabins in close proximity it is very quiet. Very close to shops and dining and an entrance to Smoky Mountain National Park. A river flows behind the cabin and its very relaxing to sit on the porch swing and watch the river go by.

The cabin was absolutely adorable and super clean. It had such a home feeling to it.The back porch/deck was so comfy to sit on. We loved the rocking chairs, and the swing. I had no trouble kicking back with a blanket and book. Not to mention the water access was excellent, and the fishing was on point. The location of the cabins is great too. They are in a quiet location, but also very close to attractions.Communication with the manager was great, and so polite. The only thing that caught me off guard was the 200 holding fee that came out of my account the day before check in. I wasn’t prepared for that. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay, and hope to visit again in the future. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway.

This wasn’t our first stay in Cherokee but the nicest. It’s hard to find something along the river that’s not a motel yet still in Cherokee. It had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Enough trash bags, TP, and power towels. The toiletries were a nice touch. The boys fished, mountain biked everywhere, and tubed the river. The cabin is close to everything, very convenient. The only bathroom is off the master suite but wasn’t an issue. The deck with the gates were nice since we brought the dogs and that’s where they spent most of their time. Gas fireplace was great, can make the loft was toasty. We would 100% stay here again.

This cabin is nice and clean. Very close to amenities and shops, however, it should be listed on the main page that there is a $200 deposit expected 24 hours before check in. It’s in the rental agreement which is signed after booking, but transparency is important and this should be part of my decision to book a property. Also, guests that come home after 1am and hang outside when they have connecting porches is a bit much, but I understand you can’t control people. Overall we had a great time.
