Indian Cove Lodge on Nancy Lake

The pics on the VRBO site do not do Indian Cove Lodge justice. Beautiful place. Easy check in. Great, fast & accurate communication. I have nothing g negative to say about Indian Cove. All positive. We will certainly stay here again. Highly recommend.

We recently stayed at Indian Cove Lodge for several nights on the Denali portion of our Alaska trip and we could not have been more pleased with the house, setting, amenities and communications with the owner who was very responsive to my questions. We are a family of four (2 adults, 2 older teens) and the layout of the bedrooms was perfect with super comfy beds. All in all, the stay felt much more like staying with family friends than a vacation rental and was the perfect setting for the first half of our trip. I only hope to make it back to this beautiful property someday!

While we were on an Aurora chasing trip to Alaska, we stayed here for three nights. The house is a gorgeous post and beam home with Great views of Nancy Lake. It is less than a hour drive to Talkeetna and just minutes away of views of Denali. We were lucky enough to view the Auroras on two different nights just minutes from the house. This is one of the nicest homes we have ever stayed in while vacationing. The only problem we had was that we didn't stay at the house long enough to enjoy all the amenities.

The Indian Cove Lodge is amazing. Very clean and the owners have thought of everything. I highly recommend this VRBO to stay and explore Alaska! Owner’s communication before/during and after was great. Thank you!

The pictures can not adequately reflect how nice this property is in reality! Probably one of the nicest cabins in Alaska.. The grounds are amazing with a ton of room and multiple docks for fishing.. Super quiet and expansive lake made for some exceptional canoeing and photo ops. Location is a great jump off point for day trips to Denali, independence mine and glaciers outside Anchorage. So peaceful, so quiet, such a great connection with nature, time spent there was extremely refreshing and energizing!

This home is fantastic! Beautiful view of the lake and well secluded. Home has all that one would ask far, including great furnishings, comfortable beds and very quite atmosphere. We even got a visit from Jeff in his sea plane. Had a wonderful relaxing four days! We will recommend this home to our friends!

Pictures and description DO NOT do this place justice. The cabin itself is an engineering work of art inside and out. Jeff and Liane were super and worked with us on the dates we wanted to stay. It was my wife and I 30th anniversary so we wanted something special. I searched for months to find the nicest place and found this. It exceeded our expectations 10 fold. Jeff actually flew in and brought us fresh Salmon, how cool is that. I am a chef so the kitchen was important. It also exceeded my expectations. The cabin was WELL stocked with pantry items and cooking tools. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was peaceful and quiet the whole stay. The acreage was well groomed and the use of the canoes and paddle boat was fun. I highly recommend the Indian Cove Lodge and we plan on going back again soon. James

Our Family had a wonderful time staying in the extensively furnished and accommodated home. Everything that you would need has been provided. All you need to do is bring the beer, wine, and something to throw on the grill. Actually, you can go to Willow Creek and catch something to throw on the grill. I would suggest that you do your grocery shopping before you depart Anchorage. All the spices and such are available at the home. Our family was extremely satisfied with everything. This home is as advertised.

Three families gathered from Canada, Oregon, and Alaska to get together for a family holiday. We liked what we saw and thought we'd try this Nancy Lake - Indian Cove idea. Turns out it was the best holiday any of us could have ever hoped for. Canoeing on the lake, listening to the loons on the back porch, hot-tubbing on a beautiful summer's day...a great way to spend a relaxing holiday. There as no TV in the main family room, however, there was plenty to keep our group occupied. There was suggestions on where to fish in the area, and our bunch headed down to Willow Creek and had a grand old time catching silvers, reds, and other salmons. If you're looking for a typical Alaska holiday, not too far from civilization and the comforts of home, this is it! What a lovely home with swimming - yes, swimming in Alaska - off the dock just in front of the housse. All the comforts and a super kitchen! Great jumping off place to access Talkeetna Air Taxi for a flightseeing tour.
