Opening into the entrance hall, to the left is the sitting-dining room with a dining table at one end, and a lounge with Smart TV at the other. There are views over the garden through patio doors. Next door, a large fully-equippedkitchen with breakfast table looks also out over the garden. The light and airy bedroom offers a king size bed, double wardrobe, chest of drawers and a sofa. The luxurious en-suite bathroom features a bath and separate walk-in shower. There is underfloor heating throughout and an additional WC in the hallway for convenience. This is a single-storey home making it ideal for those with limited mobility too.

The cottage is set in the grounds of the owners' home, but maintains its privacy with its own beautiful garden. The sitting room opens onto a patio with bistro dining and bench seating, and the lawn leads down to a tranquil pond. You also have access to private woodland with a secret outside dining area, and a babbling stream winding its way through the trees. It is 3 miles to Petworth, best known as the location of the stately home Petworth House and its vast country park. This old town is quintessential old England, with small streets lined with cottages, antique shops, tearooms and restaurants. There is a good pub a 5-10 minute (0.3 miles walk) from the cottage, and Petworth has some fine eateries. There's a well-stocked Co-op in the town, or larger Sainsbury's and Tesco's supermarkets in Pulborough.
